Between Zach and Colton the process has been one of the easiest buying experiences that we have had in a long time. Very little negotiation had to be done. I have purchased 2 vehicles from Devin and the experience has always been top notch. I was unsure about a few things and had multiple visits and there was never any pressure into a decision. I was honestly very unhappy about the experience. I brought my truck in because there was loss of power and I could tell "something" was wrong. I called, made an appointment. After drop off it was me I brought my truck in because there was loss of power and I could tell "something" was wrong. I called, made an appointment. After drop off it was mentioned at the end that it would cost 250.00 for them to find out what's wrong. I feel that should definitely be told to customer over the phone scheduling the appointment. I agreed- I understand that it takes the mechanic time to figure out what is wrong. I then remembered in Bend (Oregon) they had a diagnosis fee too....however if you book the repair that fee is applied to the bill for repair. But not at this dealership. I dropped truck on a Tuesday and on Thursday I reached out to see what was happening. Then on Friday I'm told they still don't know what's wrong and it is going to be ANOTHER 250.00 to find out. I was caught off guard by this and honestly it upset me. 500.00 just to findvout what is wrong, no repairs made. My husband is dying from heart disease and in heart failure. We live on his Social security disability right now- I literally can't afford this. So I definitely was upset/scared/in tears. Anyways....on Monday they finally figured the issue out and i was given a 9800.00 quote to fix. I picked the truck up Tuesday and paid 500 bucks for the diagnosis on my credit card. My truck is in my driveway. I can't afford to fix it. Long story short- I think it's crummy to not let the customer know it is 250 bucks to diagnose when they schedule. Second- it is even crummier to then pay double that to find out the issue. I was invested 250.00 with no answers so I felt stuck at that point to continue the process. But it felt....honestly I felt like I was being taken advantage of. The whole week felt like I was being hustled. I'm not saying I WAS hustled. I'm saying it felt that way to me. It didn't feel right. I'm going to save up for the repair but I won't repair at your service shop because I really don't trust it if I am being 10p% transparent with you. I will add that i HATE confrontation and i never complain. So by writing this out I am out of my comfort zone. I've gotten 2 or 3 requests for me to rate my experience and I didn't want to rate my experience because my experience was awful. And I am really sorry about that. Christina Jackson More
Nick Younger was helpful and kept in touch with me frequently throughout the process which was much appreciated. The biggest issue was getting the 3rd party warranty to cover my transmission rebuild, frequently throughout the process which was much appreciated. The biggest issue was getting the 3rd party warranty to cover my transmission rebuild, which was not the fault of this dealership. A loaner car would've been nice, but I guess there weren't any available. More
