I had a really disappointing experience at this service center. I brought my vehicle in for a tailgate warranty issue and was told they wouldn’t honor the warranty unless I paid for their “preferred servic center. I brought my vehicle in for a tailgate warranty issue and was told they wouldn’t honor the warranty unless I paid for their “preferred service package.” That didn’t sit right with me at all. As a younger customer, it felt like I wasn’t being taken seriously and was being pushed into unnecessary services just to get something covered that should have been handled under warranty. Transparency and honesty go a long way, and I didn’t feel that here. I would recommend others ask a lot of questions and be cautious before agreeing to anything. Corwin service had me dropped the truck off for 2 days. I dropped it off the night before. I didn’t hear back from them for THREE days and then they told me a “rodent” had eaten into the emission line (w I dropped it off the night before. I didn’t hear back from them for THREE days and then they told me a “rodent” had eaten into the emission line (which could have happened) But they wanted to charge me $1400 to change the line! Which would mean they would have to keep my truck another 3 days!!! I took it to a different place and they fixed it in 2 days and only charged me $900!!! I do not like the fact that there was NO call back in the two days they promised and I had to contact THEM to even get them to call me! It is very frustrating and they didn’t even look at the truck until the last day! I run a business and I cannot be without the truck for that many days. It’s ridiculous! More
