On only one occasion, we had to bring the car back because I was still finding some oil spots on my garage floor. We left it for two hours, and they were able to discover the problem and it never did return. The service managers are always aware of the minor details in keeping the maintenance schedule up to date which pleases me especially when my wife goes for service without me. More
Four years of OUTSTANDING service! Best service every time! From the moment I purchased my car from Bill "Willie" Nelson, to every 3000 mile service has been a pleasant experience. I purchased the vehicle 100% online (while in another country), and Larry H Miller Toyota delivered to my city it when I arrived in Colorado. Again, everything was done online, including the financing and all paperwork prep. The experience was seamless and comfortable. Joe Walton (sales) and Julio Jaramillo (finance) made it all happen painlessly. The two (equally nice) guys who delivered the vehicle, collected my final signatures and gave a good overview of the Rav4--then I was off. I've previously owned three 4Runners, a Camry, a Highlander, a Lexus LX 470 and a Lexus RX 300--so I had no fears buying a Certified Pre-owned Toyota site unseen. And for those of you who don't enjoy the car sales experience I'd recommend Larry H Miller Toyota; and if you really don't like the sales experience buy a car online from them. More

L. H. Miller Liberty Toyota Scion, CO--CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!! Reviews. Reviews? I don’t write ‘em, but I certainly do read ‘em. I don’t like to jackhammer a business through the floor “all the way to China” unless it’s 1000% warranted, so… I don’t typically write (negative) reviews unless whatever particular business would better serve the public by going OUT of business! And I think I’ve written maybe two positive reviews, total, in my life. Maybe three. I need to underscore the fact that, while I’m not a ridiculously unrealistic customer, I AM, IN FACT, a very tough customer to please, KNOWING what I want (and no less!), as I typically research and know more than the dealers do about the particular vehicle I’m purchasing at the time. Now. This review, however, is SPECIFICALLY pertaining to LARRY H. MILLER’S LIBERTY TOYOTA in Colorado Springs, with a few illustrative examples regarding other vehicles, simply for comparison’s sake. An eye-opening experience, to be certain. Grab your cup of coffee. I’ve got a lot to say (hopefully not so much as to bore you to tears)—and my experiences here simply MUST be told! Please bear with me. You’ll likely agree with my assessment. I hope you experience the same (at Liberty!) in your car buying ventures. That said…. I’ve owned quite a few vehicles in my young 51 years of life—most of them purchased brand new from a dealership—both overseas and here in these great United States of America. Included among my previous rides are various makes and models from from the following manufacturers: Suzuki (bike); Kawasaki (bike); Yamaha; Harley Davidson (Buell and Fat Boy); Ford (Fairlane and Bronco); Dodge Ram; Audi; Chevy Silverado (fully dressed); FOUR Nissans—two 4x4s (both 4 and 6 cylinder, back in the 80s) and two fully dressed Nissan Titans with everything-Nissan-makes-at-the-factory installed on each of the two vehicles (LOVED them BOTH!); SIX Hondas (Ciivic, Prelude, Accord, Civic Hybrid, Odyssey—my wife LOVES this thing, from Freedom Honda—and, Pilot); 1969 Toyota Corona that literally blew up in New Mexico (threw a rod right through the engine!) on a road trip from Tucson, AZ to Colorado Springs and STILL CONTINUED TO DRIVE (though slowly, it got me to Colorado Springs!), and a 2000 Toyota Tundra (my son’s—given to him by Grandpa on the East Coast—hassle-free and comfortably driven here by me over Christmas), recently serviced at Liberty Toyota (brought in before my new purchase, as I wanted to “investigate and research” the dealership). Now. I did purchase two vehicles—Odyssey and Pilot—from Freedom Honda last year, (well, Dec 2012) just down the street. Both also outstanding vehicles—in their own right—with a similarly satisfying purchasing experience—with me having dealt directly w/the owner and General Manger, Bret. But of the six Honda’s I’ve owned, I was rather seriously disappointed w/the fit and finish of the Pilot—which was, surprisingly, significantly inferior to all the other Hondas (both new and used) that I’ve owned over my lifetime, beginning in 1994. Bret is great, Freedom Honda is great, and we’re still a loyal customer of theirs, with respect to my wife’s Odyssey and servicing (Dan Moran, Svc Mgr is also great), warranty, etc. Their vehicles, too, are typically great. They’re just not what they used to be—the Odyssey is better built than my Pilot—and not what I expected. Doing my utmost to be practical and economical—and even with all the “bells and whistles” in my new Pilot—the truth is, my wife’s words, “admit it; you settled and didn’t REALLY want the Pilot “ ring true, though I thought I really did want the Pilot, practicality and all things considered. At the time. My wife was right (aren’t they almost always?) But THIS REVIEW is about LIBERTY TOYOTA! And so we move forward…. As of this week, I NOW own an UNBELIEVABLY GORGEOUS, HIGH QUALITY CONSTRUCTED (including ALL fit and finish items) 2014 Toyota Tundra Limited, fully dressed, w/tow package, off road package, ALL the technology “bells and whistles,” LINEX bed liner, and all the Toyota interior and exterior protectant applications and warranties, including “diamond” windshield protectant and coverage. BEST VEHICLE ON THE PLANET, in my, um… somewhat “limited” experience w/new vehicles and such. ***I LOVE THIS THING!!!*** And the entire buying experience—looking, touching, test driving, talking, price and options negotiating, service department, customer service, salesmanship, leadership intervention—and finally out the door in my new ride?? Also absolutely unbelievable, top notch, ***BEST I’VE EVER EXPERIENCED, BAR NONE!!!!! Have I mentioned my purchasing experience at Liberty Toyota was the BEST I’VE EVER EXPERIENCED, BAR NONE!?!?! Here’s why… I don’t typically remember names—okay, I rarely, if ever do (pitiful, I know)—but this team? UNFORGETTABLE!! Yeah, really!! Impressive to SUCH A DEGREE that I’ll never forget their names or this experience. From my first Internet inquiry and in-person, professional and friendly follow-up by JC Christiansen; very customer-oriented in-store interaction with receptionists Sarah and Amber; extremely patient and accommodating in answering ALL my questions and guiding me through the entire purchasing process interaction with Ken Ruggera; all finance and accessory questions, decisions, and purchases personally, personably, and professionally handled through Accessory Manager Jessica Stroud and finance gurus Julio Jaramillo and Leon Bihr… and direct, frequent and EXCEPTIONAL intervention (at my request) and interaction with this “difficult customer” (ME!!)—really, I’m simply someone who knows what I’m looking for and wants QUALITY, PERIOD—by General Sales Manager, Jeff Kostenko,… this was my “1000% satisfied customer” purchasing experience. And in the Service Department, regarding both my son’s 2000 Toyota Tundra and the accessorizing of my new 2014 Tundra, Assistant Service Manager Paul Reed has been extraordinarily helpful and service-oriented almost beyond belief! Yes, really! So, there’s that. I’m now an absolutely loyal, die-hard Liberty Toyota customer—Toyota, period—FOR LIFE!!!!! ‘Nuff said. More

This is his 3rd brain injury in 10 yrs and they say it is from agent orange from Vietnam where he served as an airborne ranger special forces for three tours. The brain surgeon told us it was a deadly tumor and he would be dead within the year. My 24 yr old son and I prepared for the worse. for a week we waited for the swelling to go down so they could do surgery. Meanwhile my 10 year old car broke down and I had to deal with that. It was horrible. Jim has always done the cars, bought, fixed, gassed, etc. I was on my own. Finally they went in to his brain while we waited, the surgeon ( who looked about 12 yrs old to me) came out beaming and said " Best possible outcome, he put the scapel into the tumor and it came out with pus, It was an abscess not a tumor, He would live. OMG . It was a miracle because so many people had been praying for him. so he was put on IV antibiotics and rehab to learn how to walk and talk again and after 6 wks he came home, a wounded warrior. the car was still a problem, also my son's car and Jim's old jeep, no reliable car in the family. I have never bought a car, new or used by myself and I was intimidated by the prospect, this injury left Jim with dementia and I was in charge. finally I looked on the internet and found the purple toyota highlander that I wanted and put my name in. In about ten minutes Ken called me and told me all about the car. He was straightfoward and not at all what I had imagined about a used car sales man. I was taken aback by his honesty and professionalism. we went in to look at it the next day and I had every intention of just looking but I was impressed with the numbers that Ken offered( I had looked the car up on blue book) and with his down to earth attitude. Seriously I was prepared to say well we have just started looking but the car was so beautiful and perfect that I said OK. all in all it was a painless experience , I felt well taken care of and I thought that Ken R was honest and sincere with me and my husband. he immediately understood Jim's limitations and treated him with respect and included him in the transaction although I don't think Jim knew what was going on. Ken brought him popcorn and water and that made him happy. Every one at Liberty toyota had the opportunity to take advantage of us , a newbie and a Vet with dementia, but no one did, they were all wonderful to us. Without fanfare, I drove home in my gorgeous new car, satisfied. More
