After living abroad for 41 years one of my first considerations was purchasing a car because it is necessary to just live here. I guess everyone has heard horrible stories of car salemen and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the attitude at Liberty. Both Harry Lauer and Jeff Mattingley took into consideration the level of transitional adjustment that I was going through and limited their sales pitch to the necessary items. They both were naturally friendly which helped to ease my nerviousness. Mr. Lauer was very helpful when I test drove 2 vehicles pointing out the differences and advantages of each. Because I had been doing missionary work for the last 35 years, my finances were limited and they took this into consideration as we negoiated the sale price and the service contract. I left feeling that I was very well taken care of and determined to recommend Liberty to everyone that I could. More

My experience was great. The staff was really friendly and helpful. They figured out my warranty information to make sure I got the right deal, and even helped me inside to figure out the WiFi while I was and helpful. The only slight downside was how long it took for anyone to come to my car while I was in the bay, but even that was only a few minutes. I was very impressed with the whole experience. More
Chris was relaxed and knowledgeable and we felt very comfortable with him. We weren't going to buy a Toyota but I fell in love with the car. He tried to have as much of the paperwork completed before we actually came in and that was great. Then he set up my car and phone so it was synced, his tutorials about the car were very helpful. I believe him when he tells me he is available for any questions. He introduced us to the service people and where to go for oil changes and I will be comfortable in the future as well. Liberty Toyota Scion is the best dealership I've worked with. I've purchased my past 2 cars with them and my experience this year with the 2011 Corolla was impressive. I made the appointment for my car because my car had a recall safety issue. It was easy to make the appointment,and get a ride to work, so I did not miss any work. Everyone was very helpful, they told me other things that needed to be done, but did not pressure me to have them done at the same time. I was picked up to get my car without any trouble. Only one small thing, when I took my car and got just a few miles away, it started idoling very rough, I turned around and went back to the garage. Scott explained to me that this was normal and that the computer was relearning my car, I just think it would have been nice to know that before I left, as I was frightend that something was seriously wrong when it idoled so strangely....It was no big deal, I am very glad that it was a normal thing and it did go away with in a few more miles. Thanks Scott! All in all it was a very good visit.We have a mechanic that my husband has been working with for the last 22 years and is very happy with, or I would come to you for everything...as it is I may check back to see if I can get the little ding on my passenger side rear door fixed...I did not know you do body work also? I brought in our Sienna to have recalled parts replaced and used a coupon for an oil change. Total cost was $26.95. Mr. Thammasien was very friendly & we enjoyed the popcorn & drinks while we waited. Upon leaving, I pushed several buttons (that didn't do anything... or so I thought) before I found the hazard lights and turned them off. The next day, the automatic door on our van didn't work. I called Liberty Toyota and let them know the automatic door was broken. I thought one of the mechanics had unplugged the wires while working on the van the previous day. I left a message for Mr. Thammasien and Liberty Toyota said to bring the van right in and they would look at it. Mr. Thammasien knew I was driving down to the dealership, and he could have waited until I got there (about a 1/2 hour away). However, he had a idea of what might be wrong, and promptly returned my call. He asked me to push a button on the left side of my steering wheel. I realized the button said "Automatic Door OFF". It was one of the buttons I had pushed the day before while trying to turn off my hazard lights. Anyway, the automatic door was "fixed" and I am grateful that I didn't have to drive all the way back down to the dealership. I think Mr. Thammasien did a great job by returning my call in a timely manner and knowing enough about the van to "trouble shoot" over the phone. Fred was very understanding that my wife had concerns bring our Lexus to a Toyota dealer. In her eyes, they were very different types of dealers. We were unsure what needed to be done at our 60k mileag bring our Lexus to a Toyota dealer. In her eyes, they were very different types of dealers. We were unsure what needed to be done at our 60k mileage setting and Fred was able to go online and pull up our specific vehicle (400h) and give us a printed out version. He further started listing the price for each of the services involved. He gave us an approximate cost of $300 for all the services. The reason for our hesitation was that the Lexus service had just indicated on the phone that nothing special needed to happen at 60k other than an oil change. So we had a difference of opinion between Lexus and Toyota. I told Fred, let's just do the oil change for now and I would do a little research on the 60k service. He said no problem and wanted us to be comfortable on our decision. So, at that point, we elected to just do an oil change. We actually bought a 3 oil change contract several months ago and only used two of them before they expired. Fred was able to give us a grace period and offered to change our oil for free (vs. Lexus' $69 equivalent oil change). Great! I went home and pulled open our maintenance manual and sure enough, the sheet that Fred had given us match EXACTLY to our log book. I did a little more research on the cost and saw someone quote $1,255 for the 60k service at the Lexus dealer (keep in mind, this was an internet search). I called Fred and told him to proceed with everything provided it was at the $300 figure we had discussed earlier. I came back the next morning and Fred mentioned that one of the items did not apply to our hybrid so it was going to be a little less. Wow, that's a rare statement to hear from a dealer! One comment Fred said that really helped in our confidence in the dealership working on our Lexus....."The 400h is basically a really nice Toyota Highlander Hybrid". And that makes sense. Thanks Fred for all the help and we will continue to bring our Lexus to Liberty Toyota for our service needs. Sincerely, Jeff More
