Worst service experience ever on my Tundra. Changing fluids took 8 hours. Took my car in at 10:15 a.m. and got it back at 6:30 p.m. I did agree to end of day return, but 6:30 is way past Changing fluids took 8 hours. I was also advised possible brake replacements at 6:15 p.m. Poor to no communication on progress. When I raised issue to Service Director, he left me a vmail but has not returned 4 subsequent calls. I had purchased the 3 oil change service, cancelled it after this fiasco as I will find other more reputable repair businesses. 3 additional services were recommended for my vehicle, why add them if your staff is already too busy? More
I do not find Corwin Toyota of Colorado Springs trustworthy. I paid for a coolant flush and within 5000 miles had a faulty water pump code. Based on the simplicity of this repair I chose to comple trustworthy. I paid for a coolant flush and within 5000 miles had a faulty water pump code. Based on the simplicity of this repair I chose to complete the repair myself. When I removed the water pump I was surprised to find two pieces of the foil seal from an antifreeze jug at the circulation port on the face of the water pump. I'm sure these pieces of foil were intermittently blocking the circulation port and causing the engine code. There has never been coolant added to this car other than the flush and replacement this dealer performed. They shared the remaining engine code with me which was a misfire. Their parts department sold me the OEM water pump and coil packs which I replaced as well correcting the misfire. About the only thing I recommend at this dealership is the parts department. More

The interaction with Chris Fitch was pleasant & positive. However, I rate the overall experience as 2-stars for the same reason I rate all dealers at that level. Specifically, I was given a "free" assessment of items that needed to be done at a cost of over $1600 to include some highlighted in red. I know for a fact that none of those items were needed, or even listed in the owner's maintenance manual, because they had already been done or not required by the manufacturer. I closely follow all my vehicles' maintenance requirements, some of which I do myself. The only time I will use a dealership is when a recall is issued, the reason I has to set up this appointment. More
