In many ways, the evolution of the Coulter Automotive Group is the story of the growth and prosperity of the Greater Phoenix area. Four years after the Grand Canyon National Park was founded, C.W. Coulter became a partner in Snow and Tufts, an Oldsmobile/LaSalle dealership located at 320 N. Central Ave. in Phoenix. By 1926, slightly more than a decade after the Arizona Territory became a state, the dealership was renamed Coulter Motor Company, forming the rock on which our reputation was founded.

2015 Cadillac SRX. Sapphire Blue Metallic Nathan was our salesman and was very knowledgeable about the Cadillac. This is our first Caddy and we are very excited about owning one. Service Ripoff Several weeks ago my water pump went out in my 2010 Cadillac CTS. I had my car serviced at this location a year ago and was completed ripped off but Several weeks ago my water pump went out in my 2010 Cadillac CTS. I had my car serviced at this location a year ago and was completed ripped off but clearly I did not learn my lesson. However, after this experience I will never go back!!! I called and made an apt with Angie the service manager for a Saturday morning. She was friendly and told me they will look into and call me back. My Dad who had previously been a mechanic, said the water pump should be $100.00-$150.00 and then a few hours of labor. He thought it would cost between $300.00-$500.00 MAX! However, Angie called and told me it was be over $950.00 (this includes 140 just to run the diagnostic which I agreed to ) but that means the water pump and labor was over $800.00. I told her that was absolutely crazy and I wanted to call around. I made some calls and found a reputable shop that put in an AC Delco water pump and labor for $308.00 tax included. When I called and told Angie that I wanted an AC Delco, not a GM waterpump, she told they do not use 3rd party or after market parts GM parts only....REALLY? That is funny because I called several other Cadillac dealerships and they quoted me with a GM part and an AC Delco part. After reading many reviews it appears this is a common theme in their service dept. I will never go back and I would discourage others unless you have unlimited funds and money is not an option. Needless to say, shopping around instead of just letting them try to pressure you into something I was able to save $508.00. More

Great Experience with Joe Statile If you go here and don't like the usual runaround from a car salesmen talk with Joe Statile. He was the most outstanding salesmen I have dealt with in Arizona. He provided excellent customer service, with no pressure and went above and beyond to follow up with me and provide me a great experience. I did not end up purchasing the vehicle, but during the haggling process he was not pushy. He didn't try anything shady and was very honest. Ultimately the car was over my budget, it was nothing Coulter or Joe could have done. I would go back to Coulter if I knew that Joe was going to be the one helping me out. For the first time I have nothing bad to say about a dealer or a car salesman and that is pretty rare! Thanks for your help Joe! More

Excellent Service and No-Pressure (Sales Rep Alan Harwell) I owned a GMC Yukon for 16 years and began my search at GMC for obvious reasons. Alan took the time to explain the different Acadias available and di I owned a GMC Yukon for 16 years and began my search at GMC for obvious reasons. Alan took the time to explain the different Acadias available and did not pressure me to purchase that day. Needless to say, I returned the following day and purchased my 2017 Acadia Limited. The whole experience from looking at cars (Alan Harwell) to test driving to the sale (Brian Peck) was wonderful. I would highly recommend Coulter and especially Alan! See you in 16 years! More
