I must say I had a wonderful experience at Coulter Motor Company. I requested a quote from a popular website and within 5 minutes John called me and we set a convenient time to visit. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted and John did everything he could to find the vehicle that met my needs. He allowed me to test drive several models and was patient with my decision making process. He finally found a car that fit my needs and jumped through all kinds of hoops to get it here, have it detailed and full of gas waiting for me. It is truly unbelievable to me how much these salesman do beyond just selling the car. John gave me a tour of the facility, introduced me to the service personnel and then even helped me get my new car home. Really impressive. I am in finance and just wanted to buy a car at a fair price with no haggling. John did just that and was very transparent with all of the numbers. There was absolutely no "sales pitch" involved. I met Peter in finance and he was thorough in his explanations of the various options I had but again was courteous and did not pressure me to buy anything. Again, very impressive. I did not spend my whole day at the dealership. When the car was delivered, I was there about two hours to complete everything required to take possession of my new ride. I drove away with a beautiful red 2013 Acadia Denali. This vehicle has so far met my expectations and if performs half as well as the dealership and people I dealt with, I'm in for a long and happy driving experience. I wholeheartedly recommend John Skoko, Fleet manager at Coulter for your next automobile purchase. The only complaint I have is the hot dog vendor was gone by the time I was hungry :-) More
After purchasing 5 vehicles from an AutoNation dealership and being taken to the cleaners on the last one that was it for me. I'll never go back. Wife and I decided to shop independent dealerships and had previously visited Coulter to test drive a few cars. I must admit I test all dealerships by asking questions I already know the answers to. If I'm lied to I walk out and never look back. At Coulter they passed my test with flying colors, no lying, no bait and switch, no bull. I found a used car that was a 100% match to the list of features the wife and I wanted like air conditioned seats, remote start, power lift gate, etc. It was the right color, year, model, price - everything. When I opened the hood not only did this 4 year old vehicle look clean but I checked every fluid and it was clean. The oil had obviously been changed, Brake fluid was bright, etc. The tires were new, the inside was meticulous. It was clear they went through this car with great care and detail. Chris has been there over 10 years, knows his cars inside and out. (My last autonation salesman had been there 2 weeks to put it in comparison.) Ray also helped me and was great. Both finance managers made themselves available to me to discuss different extended warranty options and finalize the contract. Stacy worked her magic with my very difficult vanity plate migration because the truck I traded in had a pending vanity plate order. Everyone took exceptional care of us. The GM called me and personally provided his email and cell so I could call anytime if I had any issues. After purchase we immediately took the car on a long drive out of state and swung by a secondary dealership and had them test the battery and brakes. Both tested excellent. At that point I had independent verification that Coulter sells great cars and takes excellent car of their used fleet. I highly recommend them and I can't think of any other car dealership I can say that about. More

The estimator, Russell Moore, contacted me immediately and was out the same day at my home for the estimate, stayed in touch regularly and my car was taken care of within days. The coordinated effort to provide me with transportation to/from both to drop off my car & get me back to pick it up was timely as well as the coordinated effort with the body shop and dealer location was very reassuring and I'm very satisfied with the work. Coulter Cadillac in Tempe has a fantastic inventory of vehicles of which the Cadillac SRX caught my eye. Shortly after that Brian Peck /Sales Consultant introduced himself and ask if he could assist with vehicles of which the Cadillac SRX caught my eye. Shortly after that Brian Peck /Sales Consultant introduced himself and ask if he could assist with whatever vehicle we were interested in. He showed us several SRX vehicles and explained the different price ranges and standard equipment that comes with each vehicle. After making a selection he assisted us with the test drive and continued to explain many of the wonderful features that come with the SRX. Upon returning to the showroom Brian assisted me with the initial terms of the purchase and was very responsive to any questions. After the purchase/paperwork was finished Brian took me to my new SRX and showed me many more of the features that are available on this fantastic vehicle. The Onstar, Navigation, Voice Recognition, Remote starting, Ultra View Sunroof, Smartphone connection, etc. I am very happy with my 2013 SRX and the customer service at Coulter Motor Company Tempe. We have owned two Buick Regals in the past and were interested in a Verano. We were met by Alan Gibson as we wandered around the sales lot on a Friday afternoon. After taking a short test drive in a silver Verano Alan spent most of the afternoon trying to locate the right one for us. When we could not make up our mind on options or color he arranged for us to take the silver Verano home for the night. This proved to be an astute move because we bought that car the next day. I was impressed with how much time Alan spent with us on Friday and Saturday. I've never had a sales consultant go over every feature of a new car before I left the dealership with it. I know it's probably a Coulter requirement but Alan took his time and made sure we understood all the bells and whistles on our new Verano. He even showed us the service area so we would know where to go and who to talk to when we brought our new car back for service. From past experience (not at this dealership) I was not looking forward to the meeting with the "finance guy" but that went smoothly as well. No pressure to add on stuff we did not want and they were able to get every penny of the GM Card rebate that we had built up over the years which was an unexpected surprise. After driving the new Verano for a week I have not had one single tinge of buyer's remorse. We have a tendancy to keep cars for a long time but I'm sure that when my wife tires of her 2009 Honda (she is jealous of the MY car) we will call Coulter and set up an appointment with Alan. He will still be there because, being the kind of dealership that it is, Coulter does not have a lot of employee turnover. They treat their employees right who in turn treat their customers right as well. I can't recall seeing any Couter TV ads that are so common with many other dealerships. No doubt that's because they rely on repeat business and word of mouth advertising which is free and more powerful. Good job Coulter! More
