I wasn’t looking to buy a dream car, just something that was big enough to hold my Saint Bernards so that I could take them somewhere together. I’d been looking for over a year. I saw an SUV that fit all my needs, even if it was high mileage. I had purchased cars before so I thought I would be ok going in on my own . My experience could have been for a number of reasons..I showed up in a bmw, I am a woman, it was a bad day for everyone, etc. I got more offers on the car I was driving than actual facts about the car I wanted to buy. The sales person who helped me, he was fine. Doing his job the way he was supposed to..bait and hook. Offered to take off the packages that were in the first offer I got. Another guy stepped in and said I had to get the packages because they were already installed. Lifetime Nitro (seriously?), premium scratch guard, vehicle location device, and one other thing. Although the anti theft device may be installed the other 2 were not. I don’t mind the song and dance of car sales but I very much detest being lied to. The original salesman has been trying to make it right but I’m sure that he can only do so much. The car was filthy when they sold it to me so he had it detailed, the windshield had a chip, he had it fixed. All of which are great but when are we going to stop accepting that car dealerships are just shady? Why can’t you just sell cars instead of lying and manipulating people for a sale? Why let me sit in the lobby alone for well over an hour without a word while holding my credit card? Can I get a water? A smile? Something?? I see why people are buying cars online these days. If every customer was treated well, not just the ones buying new and financing their lives away, I think more people would go buy cars at brick and mortar places. Probably spend more too. I understand I bought a used car, that it was a gamble as well as quick turnover vehicle, but that doesn’t mean I should have been treated any differently than a person buying a new one. One star is because I actually like the suv and the other is for my sales guy Francisco. I know he’s trying. If dealerships actually cared about the people buying the cars instead of the bottom line..they might actually sell more, and that line would be bigger. I own a business, and though it may not be auto, customer service is customer service. Do right by then, and they will do right by you. More

Edward was a nice and friendly salesman and Ken, my finance advisor, listened to what I wanted and was easy to w my 2018 Courtesy buying experience.
