Courtesy Nissan of Tampa

Let me start out by saying, I have not purchased anything from Courtesy Nissan of Tampa. However, I have bought from what was once Ferman Nissan of Port Richey that changed ot Maus Nissan, then Pearson Nissa from Courtesy Nissan of Tampa. However, I have bought from what was once Ferman Nissan of Port Richey that changed ot Maus Nissan, then Pearson Nissan of Ocala (They SUCK) Only because no one else could find the truck and options I wanted and after going back and forth with them they got it. However, I live in Spring Hill, Florida and Maus Nissan of Brooksville is close to me. I bought my 2025 Pro4X in December of 24. Three weeks ago not even at two years my battery gave out on me. Under two years, the battery died. Battery says 3 Year Warranty. I had just passed my 36K mile mark which the warranty was 3 years or 36K. Again, two weeks before that I was in Maus Nissan of Brooksville and was under the mark, yet they said "battery test good" I doubt it was every checked. I drive to work one day and notice the start seemed sluggish, but it started and I thought maybe I just didn't hit the start button good enough or slipped whatever, I got ot lunch truck died. I had to call my boss to come get me. I call Courtesty Nissan of Tampa and got some stupid girl on the phone who told me "The battery is only covered for a year" No I say, it says 3 years, We only cover for 1. Bullsh... This was the closest Nissan to my job that day so I couldn't make it back home. Fast forward to speaking to the manager at Brooksville who said he's going to try to help me but I have to bring the old battery in to test it....in the truck. (Why can't you just test it on a battery tester) I had to go to Napa and by a new battery to get my butt home as Nissan didn't want to do what they were supposed to? We have to test it in the truck I'm told. Okay they are you going to pay me back for the battery I had to buy? We will see what "nissan" will do, or might comp you for service or something. Fine, but I still dont' understand why it has to be in the truck to do so. "Nissan" Okay Can I have a rental because when I get back from Tampa you guys will be closing and I won't have much time. We will give you a rental another guy says we will comp you for trouble. Now as I am supposed to go today to drop off the truck as it will take them more than a hour to "test" a battery" They won't give me the rental, now they want me to pay for the rental ...GREAT! Great customer service by Nissan as a whole. I've been a supporter of them for a long time but now i"m just getting annoyed. Do better or lose a customer. Stop being a Stealership and take care of your people. More
