I went to Covert GMC on Saturday after reading their reviews to look for a Yukon Denali that they had. The TLDR version of this is they are horrible on customer service and extremely UNETHICAL. They hi reviews to look for a Yukon Denali that they had. The TLDR version of this is they are horrible on customer service and extremely UNETHICAL. They hid their Market Adjustment fee to be a "Market Value" for the Yukon. Which GM has issued a memo about not doing that (5 minute Google search and you can see people like ChevyDude YT reading the memo AND you can find the actual email on silveradoevolution website). Just because they had it on their lot. When USAA rejected the loan because the car is WAY overpriced and not within the true value Covert hit my credit an additional 4 times playing with numbers to get me approved through their lenders. Their best offer was to take 3K off their Market Adjustment rate. USAA rejected the LTV of the loan because the car is over valued. Covert isn't buying these cars at MSRP and selling 15K over is unethical at best. Brandon informed me if ordered from GMC directly I could wait and not pay their 15K market up. He didn't even know who the President of GM is. When I informed them that the MSRP price would allow USAA to cover the loan I was told that Covert would need financing outside of USAA to allow them to get to MSRP. So use their finance company or don't get to stickert price. When I pushed back they sold the Yukon even though I had a deposit against the vehcile. They never informed me I have 24 hours to come up with financing. Only when I pushed back on the need to use USAA did they come up with that rule. I will update this with a Reddit story link where you can find the wonderful screenshots of our text conversations and you can be informed as to what kind of business this is. More

After lowballing my trade, my salesman (in which I will not mention any names here) added dealer add-ons (Product Protection Plan and Window Film) to the price of the truck. I told him I wasn't interested in these to please take them off. He told me he couldn't that they were already included into the price of the vehicle. Told him again I wasn't interested and that I wouldn't be buying unless he took them off. He told me good luck in purchasing elsewhere... A few days later (10/22/22), this same make of truck was now $6000 off MSRP. Inquired again online and received a call from sales. Told them I had been in with my trade and but I didn't want the same salesman as he did nothing but wasted my time. Got a different guy, supposedly a senior sales agent with Covert. He too try the same tactic of the add-ons, but this time trying to sell them to me at cost. Told him too, not interest, to take them off. He finally did! Still a crabby value for my trade, but decided the $6000 off MSRP on a new truck was a good deal! Told him to send me the stock# and the VIN so I could look it up online to be sure we were talking about the same vehicle. First clue here was when he told me he didn't have that information in front of him. He would have to call me back. Later called me back but wanted my credit card number to secure the truck so it couldn't be sold. I agree to it and he agreed to send it out the following Monday to have a spray-in bedliner put in. This was on Saturday. On Monday morning (10/24/22), he calls me to tell me he was waiting for one of the two trucks they had left to come back from being loaned out over the weekend to customers. I'm like, WHAT?? What do you mean loaned out? The truck I agreed to purchase was supposed to be locked away only to be taken to the third-party shop to have the spray-in bedliner put in. He told me he didn't know. Told me he would call me back. Called me back a hour later to tell me he found yet a third vehicle identical to the one I was interested in with 338 miles on it. I told him this isn't a new truck, it's now a demo and I wasn't any longer interested in purchasing anything from Covert GMC! I found the sales people I dealt with to have very little integrity. I have chosen not to mention their names here as I believe over time others will see the same experience I did and will choose not to do business at this dealership. It's really sad that buying a vehicle has come to this. No one should be subject to this dishonesty! More
We were very happy with Pedro Benitez. I had called to get some info about a car I saw online and Pedro answered all my questions. We told him when we could get to the dealership which was on his day off, but he was happy to meet us anyway. He was very professional and polite. He answered all of our many questions, which showed his knew the car well. He has also called to see how our drive home went and if we were still satisfied, which we are. More
