This time, though, after an oil change and then driving several hundred miles away, I began to hear a knocking occasionally. Turned out to be a bolt missing from my aftermarket skid plate. I have had it for years and had many oil changes. Only time this has happened. Gratefully the other two bolts are keeping it on. I am assuming it was not tightened properly after the oil change.
