Had a recall on our Beetles airbag. Set an initial appointment drove down at the scheduled time only to find out that my Beetle had a different model of airbag so they couldn’t replace it and had to r appointment drove down at the scheduled time only to find out that my Beetle had a different model of airbag so they couldn’t replace it and had to reschedule. We get all of our service done at Crain, how could someone not check in advance my VIN vs. waiting until I arrive and then have to reschedule and waste >1hr of time? Now, we get to appointment #2 where I am only there for the recall but my air filter and oil got changed “accidentally” due to some confusion in the lobby. At first I was going to be charged for these, but the service advisor came back and said no charge....no kidding, thank you for not charging me for services I didn’t ask for. Anyway, I am giving a 5 star rating because they rectified the situation and they are friendly with a great waiting area/showroom where I was able to work while waiting. More
