Basic service Had an ac problem. Button will not engage compressor all of the time. When the button works the ac works fine, cold air and all. When the buttons does Had an ac problem. Apathetic Service Crain VW Service Department was slow, no sense of urgency at all. With 82k miles on car, Turbo Booster had to be replaced $2,400 expense (a flaw in design by VW, many other complaints online with no recall or warranty backing vehicle). While we accepted our fate to replace it, we had been told that it was a full days work to do, Crain kept our car for 10 days. They did provide a loaner vehicle, however 10 days is too long with zero communication from them. When I called to check for status, they were very apathetic. We felt going direct thru VW was better situation, but doubt we will go back! More

Oil change and basic service, including tire rotation. I gave my experience at Craine a 5-star rating because the people were very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. The service was top notch, and though it took a while, the dealership provides a very comfortable place in which to wait. It was clean with comfortable furniture and a good TV, plus I had control of the remote control. I was also able to do some work while waiting. I called Crain and they were able to get my car in the next day for evaluation Engine light and MIL light came on along with a “service now” message.
