Josh Linton was my primary help -- he was courteous, patient, and willing to answer a lot of questions from myself and my dad. Everyone seemed genuine and willing to work with me in the process. The actual negotiation time was only a few minutes and they didn't drag it out like some other dealers I have talked with in the past. Overall, the sales team, and particularly Josh, was great and I appreciate their professionalism and help. Unfortunately, this wasn't my experience with the finance department. When I sat down with the finance person, he slid paperwork across and told me to sign the loan paper without telling me any of the terms of the loan -- length of time, the bank, the interest rate, etc. -- and apparently hoped I would do so without asking questions. Upon questioning, he gave the details of that loan that were really unexpectedly high -- to the point that I wouldn't be able to afford the car. Despite assurances that they would find the best rate and deal for me, it appeared they wanted to go with the deal that would be best for them. The finance person insisted that this was the best option and even if he looked again it wouldn't make any difference. After my dad and I insisted on looking at other options, it took the gentleman about 10 seconds to find another loan rate that was much lower and the terms more reasonable. The conversation took on a very tense tone from that point on, and felt unpleasant to be honest. I understand that I made a A REALLY GREAT deal on my car, and the dealership was perhaps trying make more of their profit on the finance end of my transaction, and I don't blame them for considering their interests in this process. However, I didn't feel like the finance department was totally up front with me. In the end, I did come away with a good finance deal which I am satisfied with. I would recommend Crown Fiat to anyone -- I think on the whole they are a great team and have great cars. I made a TREMENDOUS deal on my car, and I love it! Go find Josh Linton -- he's excellent!
