we transported Toyota Tundra for Cumberland Toyota, but they didn't pay us 1700$ for transportation. Gave us wrong vehicle to transport and want to blame it on us. I passed several Toyota dealerships to find Cumberland Toyota. Roughly 100 miles one way. If buying another. Even if gas goes to $50.00 a gallon. Would still be worth the trip. A+ Toyota. This dealership is why they have a bad reputation. All that matters is maximizing profit. Customer service and finding the best rate is not a consideration. They told my parents that if they wanted to pay cash rather than finance, they would tack on an extra $2000 above MSRP. I requested a cash price breakdown on their website and there was no such charge. rather than finance, they would tack on an extra $2000 above MSRP. I requested a cash price breakdown on their website and there was no such charge. I showed the website breakdown to the salesperson and she pointed to the disclaimer saying that the price could fluctuate due to inventory availability. I had run the numbers the day before. Their inventory didn’t fluctuate since yesterday. They’re just not advertising this extra charge. Other, more reputable dealers aren’t doing this, even if you’ve heard that they are. Don’t let them fool you. Walk away. By the way, my parents are senior citizens and they were very confused by all this. They hadn’t purchased a car in a long time. They felt like they were being swindled but thought they didn’t have a choice. We were expecting to pay full price for the car due to the shortage, but these guys are going too far. I really felt that they were taking advantage of senior citizens. Shame on you, Cumberland Toyota. More
