Buying a car the way it should be! My wife and I were trying to "sneak" into Cumberland Toyota to look at the different Prius models. Targeting lunchtime as the best possible period to My wife and I were trying to "sneak" into Cumberland Toyota to look at the different Prius models. Targeting lunchtime as the best possible period to be salesman free, we went in and sat in a new Prius on the showroom floor. We were both a little confused and overwhelmed with the number of Prius models as well as the levels of trim. Looking dazed, we saw Brandon Hall walking in our direction. He introduced himself, told us a little about the Prius we were in, then gave us the name of the Prius Product Specialist, and showed us where all the vehicles they currently had in stock were parked. Then he told us he was the new car sales manager and that he had no "salesmen." I have Product Specialist on salary to answer your questions. When you decide what you want, you tell us. Feeling brave, we went out to the "Prius" lot and sat in every model and every level of trim until we found exactly what we wanted. We came back a few days later and went for a test drive with Philip Re, who showed us all the nuances of the Prius in short order. We then went to Josh Lawson to work out the details of our trade-in and purchase. Brandon Hall and Matt Thomsen both made sure that we were able to get the car we wanted (which had to be brought in from another dealership,) at a price that was extremely competitive. Then Wayne Chaffin walked us through the purchase and finance. We were able to pickup our new Prius Four the next day. Even with some small challenges, Josh and Wayne managed to smooth out any difficulties and help us into a new Toyota. Philip took me through the delivery, making sure the new Prius was exactly what we wanted and expected. The whole process was as quick as I think it could have been and truly pleasant. Even several days later when I came back to the dealership to pick some accessories, Brandon, Josh, and Philip called me by name and asked my impressions of our new car. I have to say that this has been the best car buying experience I have ever had. Being 66 years old, there have been many. Cumberland Toyota's staff has certainly impressed me with their earnestness and attention to detail. More
