That's a good sales person, IMO, one that doesn't put crazy pressure on you but instead helps you come to a fair price and is in your corner. If you're thinking about a new Toyota trust me Cumberland is the absolute best in Middle Tn., since you're there ask for Paul Dean. Are You Kiddin' Me!?!?!? WE ARE 2016 RAV4 OWNERS!!! Are you kiddin' me!? That is how I've felt all day! As recently as last week, my wife Linda and I were convinced that w WE ARE 2016 RAV4 OWNERS!!! Are you kiddin' me!? That is how I've felt all day! As recently as last week, my wife Linda and I were convinced that we were asking too much of ourselves, financially, to be shopping for a vehicle that we, A) needed, and B) have wanted for a very long time. The Toyota models have continually gotten more and more exciting, and the idea of owning a new RAV4 SE - complete with its sporty looks, consistently reliable performance, and remarkably high safety ratings - had always seemed like something that we may be able to do "some day". Well, today that all changed!!! We returned to Cumberland Toyota at around lunch time today, met with sales rep John Fielden, and drove off in short order with our new RAV4 SE. We've been in contact with John, off and on, since late Summer 2015, and returned to talk about the new Toyota models with him just before Christmas. John always treats us with respect, is easy to discuss options with, and is one of the most easy-going, yet knowledgeable and professional, car dealership reps I have ever met. We're both veterans, and we both speak in gut-level terms, so there was never any reason to think that John was feeding us a line of anything that we didn't want to hear. Bottom line? Go to Cumberland Toyota, ask for John Fielden, and pick his brain about anything on the lot. He'll treat you with respect, and help you find what you've been looking for. Best Car Buying Experience EVER!! The whole thing started after being screwed over at not one but 2 dealerships! I called my good friend from school, David Hobbs, about vehicle I saw o The whole thing started after being screwed over at not one but 2 dealerships! I called my good friend from school, David Hobbs, about vehicle I saw online. At the time I was only interested in Honda Pilots. We talked about it and realized it wasn't the best option for us but he said I want you to talk to my friend John Feilden and I think he can really help you. We had a unique situation financially being upside down in our trade. John called not long later and we started discussing a Kia Sorento. I agreed to come look at it even though I really didn't want to. I came in that afternoon and John was busy so another man named David Gist stepped in and we located the another Sorento I liked better and he showed it to me and I decided I would come back later. I talked with my husband about it and came back after dinner and met up with John for the first time. We test drove it and I fell in love instantly. We went back and started working with numbers. The day was over and they were closing and he said after our morning sales meeting I'll put this through and let you know. Sure enough the next morning I got a happy text saying I got it! I went and picked up my "new to me" Kia Sorento after work and my husband came back that night and signed the papers on it. What was so special about signing the papers was that John was technically off work but came back in just to be there with us. We've never had that before and we more than appreciated it. We couldn't be more happy with Cumberland Auto and how we were treated. We worked with not one but 3 great guys which shows the amount of respect and team work they share to help their customers. Now I've had my car a week and I couldn't be more in love with the choice I made, especially considering it wasn't even what I was looking for.
