THIRD car from Chad Hancock In 2011 I drove to Nashville to look for a new car. I got the offer but something didn't feel right. Before I made it official I called Cumberland and In 2011 I drove to Nashville to look for a new car. I got the offer but something didn't feel right. Before I made it official I called Cumberland and Chad answered the phone. He's been "my guy" ever since. I took the offer in to him and he sat down with me and reviewed everything. He showed me how I could get a much better deal. Once I found the car I wanted getting the price I was comfortable with was even easier. I had been warned not to go to a dealership alone, that I would be taken advantage of and not get a good deal. I never felt that way at all at Cumberland. Chad listened to me about what was important, he didn't "talk at me", and he never assumed that I didn't know what I was talking about. Over the next four years he kept in touch with me often. If I had general car questions I would always go to him first and he would answer them. About a year ago I started thinking about trading my car. Every now and then I would call Chad and tell him what I was thinking and he was always honest with me (even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear). Finally after a year of debating if I wanted to trade I called Chad last week. After all this time he knew exactly what I wanted and even though I drove a couple cars I ended up buying the one he picked out for me. He knew what I wanted because he always listened! We actually ended up buying TWO cars on Saturday. Buying a car from Cumberland is an experience and it doesn't end the day you drive off the lot. I feel like I've been a part of a family for the past 4 years and I look forward to many more. I couldn't imagine buying from anyone else. They're not just interested in selling you a car they're invested for the lifetime of the purchase and beyond. I have two older teenage daughters and I would send either one of them in there to buy a car by themselves (and probably will) because every one of their salespeople treat every person that comes on the lot how they would want someone to treat their family.
