We always bring our oil when we come for an oil change and we did so this time. My car is under warranty and needed a thermostat. Maintenance told me it was not under warranty any more. My warranty ran out at 64000 miles. They told me it was fine Just a one time thing but nothing wrong .within. A week the check engine light was back on. Told me it will take a month to get the part. Not realizing how much a thermostat was, I told her not to order it. I would see if someone else could repair it. After I found out the cost, I called the salesman to check on my warranty . He was no longer with Toyota. The super nice man on the phone connected me with the finance manager. He assured me my car was under warranty and called the maintenance dept. The lady, I think Jeanie, told him she was by herself and would call me back. Two days later no calls. Called back and talked to finance again. He will walk the message back to Jeanie and she e would call me in a few minutes. 3 hours later and still no call. Very frustrating. If I haven’t heard from her by the time I get off work, I will drive to Toyota to see what the problem is. More
