Terrible Service Department I have had my Scion FRS in this service department 4 times now. Once with an appointment for an oil change that took 3 hours. So they didn't charge me I have had my Scion FRS in this service department 4 times now. Once with an appointment for an oil change that took 3 hours. So they didn't charge me for 3 hours of my time sitting and waiting on them. Once for another oil change, I asked about the tires, the technician said they were fine, 500 miles later, wires were fully exposed on all 4 tires on the inside. This last time was for a recall. I called and they said they'd call as soon as my parts were in and that it could be 7-10 days. 3 weeks later ifollowed up. I made an appointment to be turned away by the service department when I arrived (even after I received a text and an email to verify my appointment. Currently the service manager can tell me I shouldn't have been turned away, yet he still can't get the car in for another week. So an appointment was made that couldn't be followed through with. I'll never buy another Toyota simply because of this service department and their lack of attention to detail and customer service. More

My only complaint is I never see any oil change coupons or any coupons from your dealership like other dealerships in Tennessee offer. As a fixed income family coupons help so much when you live on a budget. More

Got it fixed after three tries Got a mail that said to bring 2008 Prius to dealer if brake warning lights come on. Something about the "Brake Actuator Assy. All OK - lights out. Next month warning triangle indicated hybrid problem. Nothing found and computer reset. Happened again 1 week later. Back to checkout. Found smaller battery needed replacement. All OK now. Thanks for all your persistence in correcting the problem. More
A two hour oil change I purchased my car from Cumberland and had been satisfied with my service experiences in the past. This time I was not. In the past someone from the service department has contacted me to ask about my experience. Guess that's not done anymore. If I had had that call I would not be posting here. It took a week and a half just to get on the service calendar. I had a four o'clock appointment but my car was not finished until 6 pm. I spoke with a gentleman who had a 4:30 oil change appointment. He complained to the management and his vehicle was finished well before mine. I did not complain until I got to the cashier but all she could do was apologize and say "we are working on it". I'm undecided as to whether I will return to Cumberland for service after this visit. I am disappointed. More

Each time we go in for service/maintenance, we touch base with our sales person Josh Lawson who always provides a car for us. Josh knows we like a nice car and he always provides us with a nice car. We have a good relationship with Josh. I sell real estate and I know how important it is to stay in tune with current as well as former customers. Word of mouth can do a world of advertising. He has probably sold three additional vehicles because of my recommendations. One thing I do dislike, however, and it is: I do NOT like to be asked to write a letter of praise. My company does generate an email to customers who have recently closed a deal. But it is prefaced that "it is here, and if you like, you are welcome to respond." Something to that effect. But I would NEVER, personally, ask for that recommendation. So when I received Josh's text this morning, I wasn't happy. He is a fine, fine representative of your company; and he should be proud of his accomplishments. But the next time I get asked for a reference I will NOT respond. End of Lease Issues I recently returned my end of lease Camry with the intent that it be purchased by my daughter. I was told the total cost of "grounding" the car would be $600. Initially I was not given a cost, but after I found another dealer that quoted me the $600 fee, Cumberland Toyota agreed to match the cost. After I had signed my papers the dealer then quoted my daughter a higher fee of over $1,000. To late to argue the point, so I covered the difference for my daughter out of my own pocket. I won't do business with these folks again. More
