Excellent Service Department On Thursday afternoon, the Temperature light came up and the car gave me a warning to drive slowly. Few minutes after the temperature light turned red On Thursday afternoon, the Temperature light came up and the car gave me a warning to drive slowly. Few minutes after the temperature light turned red and a warning to shut off the engine came up. At that point the motor was still on, but when I tried to accelerate, the car would not move. I had it towed to Mt Kisco BMW dealer. I called them and notified them that I will arrive close to their closing time. At the same time they suggested I call BMW roadside assistance. Although my car has high mileage, and I am not qualified for this service for free, they arranged for a quick tow at a reasonable price. To my surprise the dealer put me in a brand new loaner car. They looked at my car on Friday, and although they finished replacing the water pump and thermostat( I had googled it and found similar opinions that after 100,000 miles the electric water pump finishes its life), they suggested they keep the car for the weekend so they can test it on Monday. I was enjoying test driving a 2016 BMW 535 X drive for the weekend while doing my weekend travels and errands. The price of the repair was fair provided I got an immediate service, exact diagnosis, and responsible testing so I would not get stuck again and the BMW parts with 2 year warranty. Although my car is double the age of the new one, it still retains the character of the new one and I intend to drive it until it completely dies. More

There was absolutely no way the tire was damaged in some sort of impact. It was a manufacturing defect. Price discussion took no more that 30 minutes to include options and financing. The entire team (Jay Cirocco - Salesman) from intro, to sales, to car genius, to financing were all great.
