I bought from Robert Morris. He is such an above and beyond salesman. He was friendly and honest. I will be recommending him and Dan Gamel to my RV'ing group. Robert Morris is a top of the line sales person and in my opinion should be giving training to other sales associates I've come across there.

"Poor service from service dept. for the Rocklin Ca...."

Poor service from service dept. for the Rocklin Ca. location. We arrived at the service center to pick up our RV after some warranty work. At that time, they brought it out to us and this is what we found; Please keep in mind this RV is only a year old; Spare tire cover replaced with old worn out cover, they told me that it was normal wear, uh, I know what my spare tire cover looked like before I brought it in. Batteries and battery boxes missing. ? Inside RV left a mess from the repairs done. Outside was supposed to have been washed, it wasn't and when mentioned to receptionist, she wanted to start an argument. Plugs for bumper storage missing. When service manager sent out to speak to me, he basically told me to stop calling his employees incompetent when obviously they are!! He gave me a $100 gift card which I haven't used out of spite. When I got the RV home, I discovered that mice had invaded and basically tore up everything in our drawers and cabinets. Numerous follow up phone calls have been made to the "Service Manager" but no return calls have ever been recieved. Apparently my RV had been parked out in the field behind the service center and used to replace parts on other RVS. I was and still am shocked by the lack of responsibilty taken by the service dept. Everything was taken care of while I was there, but I was made to fell like the bad guy for even complaining. We still have had no response on the mice issue.

I had an excellent experience when I purchased a travel trailer from Bill Eids at Dan Gamel's RV in Rocklin, CA. As a result of difficulties with financing, by the time I was able to get things straightened out, the model I wanted (which had been on sale) was no longer available (it was in limited supply, probably a "loss leader"). When we got the financing arranged, we went back, only to be told that our chosen model (and price) was no longer available.

After selecting a different, more expensive (about $5,000 more) model (with many more features), Bill spent a lot of time with us. In the end, we were able to purchase that unit for less than $1,000 over the price of our origional choice. And since we did not have a vehicle capable of towing the trailer, they delivered it at no extra charge.

About 6 months after purchase, a pressure check valve started leaking in the bathroom (at the water heater). When I called the service department, I was informed that I had to bring the trailer in, for repair by the service department (in Newcastle), if I wanted the cost to be covered by warranty. Since we are living in the unit, and since we (still) do not have a vehicle that will tow the vehicle, and since I am very handy with tools, I decided to just buy a new valve and replace it myself.

After buying the value at the parts center, I decided to stop by and say "Hi" to Bill. While there, he asked how things were with the trailer, so I mentioned the value I was replacing - I had not intended mentioning the situation since the valve was only $15.00. However, immediately upon my mentioning the situation, Bill whipped out a $20.00 bill and offered it to me. I declined the offer, but he insisted - he pointed out that, by doing the work myself, I was saving the service department a couple hundred dollars in shop and technician time.

I am fully satisfied with Bill Eids and highly recommend him to anyone. If you wish, please go back and tell Bill I recommended you go back to see him, personally. He really is a great guy and he definitely has the attitude that customer should get what he pays for.

Has anyone else had bad experences with Dan Gamel RV ?
The salesman is Bill Eids - If you are "there for me" Bill, where are you now?

Mr. Gamel, would you reply to at least one email to let us all know that you are aware of what was done to me? and how your employee's are treating your customers?

I would like to quote a portion of text from that site for you:

"A business that provides quality products or services is seeking complete customer satisfaction. In situations where customer complaints occur, the complaint must be dealt with immediately and the cause of the complaint rectified. Some companies are not concerned with quality and often ignore complaints or deal with them dishonestly"

Mr. Gamel, your Rocklin dealership is dishonest with me. You really should take this statement to heart. and do something to help me from geting a raw deal from Rocklin. I don't know what they have told you, but one thing I have learned about Rocklin ... they lie .. if they lie to me, why would they not lie to you? after all .... if they really told you the truth about what they did to me .... you would have to fire them ... who you going to believe?

Dan Gamel RV - Rocklin, lied to me on many occasions. Told me they would refund money, they never did. They told me the coach had options it didn't. They tricked me into accepting a coach that "may" not even have any mechanical warranty because they did not perform proper services on it while it was in their posession ... And then left me here with all the expences I incured during my first 5 days of hell following delevery to me... It was sold to me AS NEW, not used, not a show coach, not a lemon return ... NEW ... what I got is a motor home that has so many miles, problems and flaws that is should have been considered used. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I believed everything that they told me as fact and truth. Turns out they lie so blatinly, right to your face, and NEVER put anything in writing WITH the exception of how much you owe the finance company after you sign the contract. I receiced my first bill for monthly payment on this coach even before I had taken delivery of the thing. but the worst was yet to come .... I have only had this Motor home since November 1st. This story is brand new, developing, but not over.

Apparently I have no recourse what-so-ever ... The court of public opinion is all that is left ... Please help me send a message to Dan Gamel RV that they can't get away with this ripoff. I spent the first half of my life savings on the motor home. I don't want to squander the second half fighting in a battle that I can not win.... the big guys are just too big ... win or loose, they win by driving you crazy, and draining your resources.
