I originally went there because of an interest in a specific brand of vehicle. I've been going back because of the customer service and quality of their work. Everyone seems to take pride in doing the little extra things to make customers feel good. Mike and Andy in the Service Department have always treated me farily and communicated well with me. The mechanics do a great job and are thorough. I will continue to go back because it feels like working with family and I like they way they do business. More

My third vehicle (Saturn) was purchased when living in Pa. I have been extremely impressed with all the employee at this facility. Each greets you with a hello and a smile. The service advisors (Mike and Andy) work with you and for you. They are kind, respectful and dedicated to providing the best service around at a competitive/fair price. As a female, I feel well advised and comfortable that they are honest with me and that they are not recommending unnecessary repairs for my vehicle. First-class service On April 10 my 2009 Civic (purchased at Darling's Bangor) was very slow to start. Worse than that were the electrical gremlins that popped up: "Enter On April 10 my 2009 Civic (purchased at Darling's Bangor) was very slow to start. Worse than that were the electrical gremlins that popped up: "Enter code" messages, lit airbag icons, all kinds of crazy things. Anyway, I had left my house in Bar Harbor and was on my way to Darling's Bangor, and then thought maybe the Ellsworth shop could help. So I drop by out of the blue to the service department, where I met Mike Ellis. To make a long story short, he took care of everything with good cheer and helpfulness. With minimal input from the Bangor service department, he figured everything out (turned out to be a bad battery) and sent me on my way. Fantastic! So, many thanks to Mike. It ended up being a very pleasant experience. Even my Labrador retriever, Mimi, would agree (she got lots of love in the waiting room). It goes without saying you have a first-class employee who is a great credit to your operation. More
Wonderful service at Darlings Auto Mall Early this morning I called the service department due to an engine light on my dash. I was told."come right up and we will work you in"! It was magi Early this morning I called the service department due to an engine light on my dash. I was told."come right up and we will work you in"! It was magic...my car was repaired and ready for me by 3:30 the same day! The problem was fixed and they were also able to do service on my car which was scheduled for next week, which included, an oil change, my wheels aligned and the transmission fluid flushed and replaced. I also had a loaner car because we did not know if this could all be completed today. This service was amazing, efficient and the bill was very affordable . Thank you Mike, Andy and the service mechanics!! More

As soon as they diagnosed the problem, Mike called me and explained exactly what needed to be repaired and the cost associated with completing the work. My car repair was completed later that afternoon at a fair and reasonable price. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, Mike took the time to review and explain all the charges on the invoice. My car is running great! I would highly recommend Darlings in Ellsworth for all service work; their technicians and staff are professional, courteous and knowledgeable. More
I bought a GMC Terrain from Darlings in 2011 and have had it serviced there regularly. I cannot say enough about my experience thus far. Mike always knows who I am as I walk through the door, and the car it serviced there regularly. I cannot say enough about my experience thus far. Mike could not be more friendly, thorough in his explanations, and always accurate in his estimates of time for service. I used to dread taking cars in for service, but the experience at Darlings has changed that completely. I would recommend the service department to anyone. More
