Consistently great service My most recent service appointment in November 2015 went like all the other service appointments I've had since I started taking my 2002 Volvo S60 2.4 My most recent service appointment in November 2015 went like all the other service appointments I've had since I started taking my 2002 Volvo S60 2.4T to Darling's in Bangor about four years ago: I call for an appointment, immediately get a live person on the phone who doesn't try to put me on hold, receive a service appointment on a date and time that's convenient for me, I arrive for my appointment, am greeted in the service bay by Tim Oversmith (perhaps the best service adviser ever -- he LISTENS to my concerns and is NEVER dismissive, plus he is exceptionally knowledgeable about Volvo cars), I'm given a beautiful new loaner, and off I go. Tim always calls me to keep me posted on progress, and when I return to pick up my vehicle, it's always freshly washed, clean, and ready to go. I've not had a single negative experience with Darling's, and I'll sing their praises to anyone who'll listen -- and often do. I have been consistently pleased with the fair pricing and professional service I've received here. My car has over 234,000 miles on it, and with the attention to detail that Forrest (the Volvo technician) and Tim give to my vehicle, I'm certain I'll get to a half-million miles without any problems. This is starting to sound like one of those "too good to be true" reviews, but I assure you I am real, I was not paid to say anything, and I would be happy to verify this review with anyone at any time. I cannot overstate how pleased I am with the the Volvo service department at Darling's. More
