M. Bruce Macisaac, thank you for your feedback. We always appreciate customers telling us how they feel. The way things went down are not exactly the way you are describing them though. First of all, there is no way we could have told you what the APR or the lease rate factor would be when you are ordered the vehicle as we cannot predict them 6 months in advance. The rate that were giving to you were provided by the banks and in line with the law. For your information, rates cannot be marked up 4% as you stated in order to protect customers. We even offered you to use your own financing if they could have gotten you a better rate. Second of all, our GM had all the intentions to meeting with you but in a period of 12 days, you set up 4 appointments and didn't show for 2 of them. You still met 5 of the managers who were instructed to take care of you in case you came while he was out of the office. Finally, you couldn't make up your mind between a lease or a retail deal. At some point, you said you found a vehicle somewhere else and texted your salesman that you didn't want to do the deal and that's when we decided to put the Sierra on the market. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you and we are sorry that it didn't work out. Everyone who ordered a Sierra from us has taken delivery without any issues. We run a very ethical and transparent business as proved by the fact that we've never marked up a vehicle since the chip shortage started. Have a great day!

You didn’t tell me the APR when I ordered it. You told me your APR when I went to get the truck. Your APR that day was 6.5% according to the finance guy. I found out that GMF APR on that vehicle was set at 2.83, which is 3.67% leads then what you quoted me on. As you stated, you cannot charge 4% more because it’s agains the law…..you came pretty close !! BYW, the better deal I got was on a 2022 vehicle, couple $$ less and I told the salesman I was working with that if your dealership couldn’t come close to that number I’d go with the other dealer. This discussion happened a few days before my built ceviche arrived. You also stated that I text the salesman and said I didn’t want the truck. Show me the text message that you are speaking of. I have it and it does not state anywhere that I didn’t want the vehicle but it does have the GMF APR rates that he asked for so he couldn’t take it to management to try and get a better deal. Never heard back from Mark. Next time a GM of a dealership promises something, I’ll be sure to hold him to his word. But I can guarantee you it won’t be with Lawrence (GM) at Waltrip !! I’m still stunned as to how I was treated…fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me !!

As we told you when you ordered your vehicle, the lease rate factors change monthly so there is no way we could have let you know what it would be 4 months ahead of time. Like you rightfully said, we cannot legally mark up the rate 4% so we clearly didn't. The lease rate factor you received was right in line with what GM Financial offered at the time. We are not sure who you are getting your information from but it is incorrect. There might be a confusion between what a lease rate factor and an APR are (a 0.00283% lease rate factor is the equivalent of 6.80% APR). It is confusing for most people so we understand. Our records show that our GM called you and apologized several times for not being present when you came in. We are not sure what else he could do since you found a better deal somewhere else and it is clear that you do not want to do business with us. We hope that you enjoy your new vehicle and have a great day!

Try to act like the polite, nice dealership online. Keep your phony reply’s as the GM only called me once after I have the dealership a bad review. His apology was not sincere at all. He gagged me the guilt trip that he had a house closing and what was he supposed to do….cancel it for me ! Yo bad your business/sales dept didn’t match the professionalism that your service department has. That being said, what else should I expect from car salesman !!
