I recently purchased a new 2011 Honda Civic SI from Dave Mungenast Honda in South County. I've got to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my buying experience for a number of reasons. 1) I actually started the in Mungenast Honda in South County. I've got to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my buying experience for a number of reasons. 1) I actually started the inquiry by working through their website. It was intuitive, easy to navigate and when I started to get more serious about the purchase I was able to inquire about the vehicle I chose quickly and easily. 2)Once I'd made my initial contact via the website I was contacted by Randy Graves the dealership's Internet Manager within minutes. 3) The dealership sent me 9 finance options before I even walked in the door. It was all so easy. I made an appointment to meet Randy later the same day. Once I arrived he explained the dealerships process, had my car appraised then took me for a test drive in the car I chose. Throughout the process Randy and the rest of the team at the dealership took a positive, professional approach to selling me a car. He made the process easy and answered all of my questions along the way. Once I'd determined that I wanted to go forward with the deal we'd agreed upon, Randy introduced me to Dave Gierse, the Business Manager. Once again, Dave was so easy to work with. This has been one of the best experiences I've had buying a car and I'd highly recommend work with both Randy and Dave. Thanks, Burnis More
Car buying has always been perceived by me as one of life's necessary evils, somewhat akin to the dentist and taxes. In fact it was more of an honest discussion of wants and needs on the cars (I also bought a used one for my daughter) we were looking at There was no shuck and jive just honest conversation. I would highly recommend Rick, he new his stuff and there was no fast shuck and jive. If all sales professionals behaved this way it would be far better for everyone. More

My husband and I had been discussing purchasing a new Honda CRV for a while but, just didn't want to commit to a car payment! We made a call to Dave Mungenast St. Louis Honda on a late Monday evening. We talked to Rob and he told us about the very very low finance rate that was about to end that night and we decided to come on in and see for ourselves. Well, with Robs hard work and fast service, we actually picked up our new CRV on Tuesday after work! I was very impressed with Rob as he went out of his way to make this possible for us. He stayed late Monday and Tuesday and had all the paperwork ready when my husband came in on his late lunch break. Not to mention that he actually picked him up as well! We have always done business with Dave Mungenast as far back as when he opened a shop on Gravois in South St. Louis. I appreciated all the efforts the guys put in to get me financing via Honda USA. Still dont understand why Honda US will not finance me on the fact that I am Canadian...I have owned Honda's before with Hon financing via Honda USA. Still dont understand why Honda US will not finance me on the fact that I am Canadian...I have owned Honda's before with Honda Canada. Anyway, good experience. Only negative would be that the they should communicate more with customers to give status on progress. I had to call many times, left messages and no one would call back in a timely fashion. I also had to go to the dealer a few times to get answers, status and get it going.... I have already recommended the dealer to co-workers. More
We returned to Honda because we are happy with our CR V and we pleased with our salesman,Rob Carroll. He was friendly and listened to what we looking for in our next vehicle. I am a previous Honda owner so I had high expectations of my new purchase. Randy was easy to work with and understood exactly what I was looking for (and didn't push what I wasn't looking for). I recently bought my car from Mark Wichman. I had a very good experience.But when it started acting up i took it to the service department to get it checked out. Brett Mathis was the man I spoke to. He told me that the test to diagnose my car would take an hour or so, so I had someone pick me up and I told him to call me when it was done. I got a call like 3 hours later telling me it was all done. So I went to the dealership to pick it up. He told me that he performed the test and he told me what was wrong. Then he told me he couldnt do anything til monday because my warranty company wasnt open til monday.I said ok. Then he told me that I could pay the 89.95 today that way on monday when I brough my car back I would only have to pay 10.00 for the rest of my deductable for my warranty or if it wasnt covered the diagnoses was taken care of. So of course I paid it. I asked if there was anyway I could get a loaner car because my car likes to sparaticaly die while I am driving, he told me that he couldnt do that so I just took my car home. So I was talking to mark my salesman and he told me that Brett told him that he couldnt diagnose it. When mark asked him why he said I didnt have an appointment. First off I made my appointment on Wednesday May 4, 2011 for Saturaday May 7,2011 when I initially brought it in. So I DID HAVE AN APPOINTMENT!!!! And he told me he DID diagnose it. So which is it, he DID or he DIDNT diagnose it???? I am not sure I trust the service department anymore. And if the Mungenast Family likes to hire people like BRETT MATHIS I think I will probably take my business soemwhere else. More
Michael was very informative about each of the CRV's that I looked at. He guided me to the service department to get the protective service for both inside and outside of my CRV.
