My wife and I decided to purchase a new Honda CRV. We visited several Honda stores at night to view the vehicles after hours not wishing to speak with salesmen. I found Dave Mungennast St Louis Honda to have the most user friendly website and decided to pay them a visit. I called Dan Larson, internet Sales Manager from their website and confirmed an appointment with him for Saturday, Aug 7th. Dan informed me he worked or partnered with fellow internet Sales Manager Randy Graves. My wife and I arrived late Saturday afternoon near closing time, due to us both working. Dan Larson greeted us and introduced us to Randy Graves. Dan then patiently showed my wife and I a Honda CRV and throughly explained all the features, while Randy took care of having our trade-in appraised. Dan then took us for a demo ride, again being very patient and thorough. we apologised very keeping him and Randy so late. My wife and I were treated extremely cordially. I explained we needed time to think things over and were never pressured or pushed to make a decision. We returned on Monday night Aug 9th to complete the purchase of our new Honda CRV EXL. Again we met with Dan Larson and Randy Graves. As a team they made our buying experience a pleasant one. Dan handled the paper work and made negotiations easy. Randy Graves took us to our new Honda for delivery and again patiently explained the many new features especially the navigation system. My wife and I have been married for over 34 years and have purchased twenty vehicles together. I must say dealing with Dan and Randy at Dave Mungenast St Louis Honda has been the best purchasing experience to date. I would highly recommend everyone to have this kind of car buying experience. At delivery a blemish was notided in the dash. It was noted in files on my car. The service manger set up a date to have it fixed. It was fixed as thot it was never there. I gave these ratings because this was my first newer car purchase. The sales staff was very friendly and would do anything to get the sale done. The financing manager on the other hand was difficult to wo purchase. The sales staff was very friendly and would do anything to get the sale done. The financing manager on the other hand was difficult to work with and would pressure us the customers into trying to purchase an extended warranty. He would not answer my questions completely and would not explain all the documents so that they were easy to understand. Salesperson Clayton Patterson made every opportunity available to me to make sure the vehicle that I was looking for was found. He was very fair and wanted both parties to go away happy. Ask for him!
