Emissions and Safety in. Went in for the Emissions and Safety Inspections. The man that got me signed in and handled the paperwork was very friendly, despite the fact that the Went in for the Emissions and Safety Inspections. The man that got me signed in and handled the paperwork was very friendly, despite the fact that the department was very busy that day, and appeared to be low on front-end service people. I spent a little over an hour and was happy that everything passed on my Focus. As I was sitting there, though, couldn't help but notice the quite a few of the appointments were set up for re-call notices. That doesn't bode well for the Ford folks. More

We were looking to replace our 2002 F-150 with a newer one. Everyone was very helpful in getting us what we wanted and through the sale process as quickly as possible. We are very happy with our 2018 F-150 and can hardly wait to take it on our first camping trip this season. More
Expensive Diagnostics I have a Ford F-150 and when I bought it was told the Premium Care Warranty was essentially a Bumper-to-Bumper for all mechanical/electrical/tech issu I have a Ford F-150 and when I bought it was told the Premium Care Warranty was essentially a Bumper-to-Bumper for all mechanical/electrical/tech issues that I would have. Premium Care is expensive, but for the piece of mind, I purchased it. Knowing there is a $100 deductible for using Premium Care, I waited till there were at least a couple of issues that were going on before bring my truck in for service. 4 issues I have complaints with. 1) What turned out to be Integrated Wheel Ends. I explained what was happening, but the mechanic could not repeat the issue. I went for a test drive and before hearing it he said he thought it might be the IWE. After hearing it, he confirmed it. Then the service tech Mike said he thought that's what it was also.... if both thought this, why did I need to diagnose it for them? So this item was covered under warranty. 2) A whistling sound in the HVAC system. Both the service tech Mike, and the mechanic could hear the whistling. It doesn't happen on all settings, so it is obviously some type of defect. But since they are not able to fix it and bill Ford, they charge me a diagnostic fee.... $115 3) Driver power seat was making a loud click when moving from all the way rear to the forward position. Mechanic took a look, found that a upholstery clip had come off the frame and it was catching on the center console when the seat moves. Once fixed, the sound went away, but apparently this isn't covered under the Premium Care " Pretty much Bumper-to-Bumper but we can't call it that because it doesn't cover the bumpers" warranty, so they charge another diagnostic fee....$225 4) Emergency Brake not going off all the time. This was an intermittent issue, that couldn't be repeated by the mechanic or myself, so I understand a diagnostic fee in this case, legitimate.....$115 They did knock $75 off the driver seat diagnostic because I couldn't believe it took the mechanic 2 hours to move a seat forward and backward and then re-clip the seat. In my opinion, the seat should have been covered under warranty. The seat clips shouldn't just "come off". Also, there is a whistling issue in the ventilation. Just because they cannot fix it doesn't mean it should cost me a diagnostic fee to not know what it is....this should not be a charge either. I will say, the staff who work at the dealership are very nice, and maybe this is just policy, but it just kind of rubs me the wrong way. I would like to continue to use Dave Sinclair service, because I do think they do good work and have a good service center, but it is things like this that make me want to go elsewhere. More
