I find it odd that I've been driving the truck for months, and I bring it it, they say there is a "big oil leak" in the back of the motor and that it was a quart low. Not true. I just changed the oil about a week ago. It's not a quart low. I also checked it right before coming in. Now, after having the vehicle for ONE day, my oil pressure gauge goes to zero and I have to turn off the engine. Seems a bit fishy to me.... I've driven the truck with the other problems (which is mainly a check engine light for runing lean, which wouldn't cause an issue with the oil) for months without a problem (as the issue coms and goes and the light eventually goes off). But now, all of a sudden there is a MASSIVE oil leak (or they say) yet I have not seen any oil coming out. And now the oil pressure sending unit is bad? This sounds very fishy to me and I suspect that either these problems don't really exist (the leak at least) or that something was done to the vehicle. Again, I just changed the oil on it, ran fine, no oil leaks or oil on the ground. In fact, it takes it about 2 months of driving to go through 1/2 a quart of oil. So why was it down a quart in a matter of days???? Furthermore, I bought it in because of ticking. They haven't checked the lifters/rockers yet. The simply said it was an exhaust leak. Then explain the oil burning on Cylinder #1 and none of the others, which is a big sign there is a lifter problem...... I'm at the point where I'm going to file a complaint with GM directly. This is unacceptable.

First, I would like to acknowledge your frustration. It certainly would have been helpful to know the policy about test driving in the cold prior to visiting. The policy does not apply to every vehicle. The Corvette you were looking at had high performance tires. It is hazardous to drive them in temperatures under 40 degrees. We set the policy to protect both customers and sales staff. I do understand your frustration with not having been told this information when you scheduled your test drive.
