Round two; I came in again two days later and was helped by a man named Chris. Both were very helpful in finding what suits me best, sharing stories of their own and putting me at ease. After a test drive with Chris that day, learning more and more about this car, I decided to begin talking prices with Jody. I tell you what, that man can take a beating and still keep you a happy guest. Making sure that everything was taken care of at the times that I need them done or that they needed to be done and no later - he helped me purchase my first new car. I went to Mazda just to check out a Traverse I had recently seen on the intrenet. The whole staff was very courteous and professional. They had the vehicle really for us to test drive. I was obviously in the car buying market, doing some shopping around and comparing similar vehicles. I drove onto the lot, got out of my car and walked around the Speed 3's since I was interested in th shopping around and comparing similar vehicles. I drove onto the lot, got out of my car and walked around the Speed 3's since I was interested in that car. No one approached me so I figured no one wanted to make a sale. I had to walk in, I was greeted by a nice gentlemen (dont remember his name either) and was told someone would be with me. A younger salesman walked up to me and shook my hand, I asked for a test drive of the speed 3, even showed him the one I wanted a car driver. He asked "are you a serious buyer" I replied "well I am just shopping around and may not buy today, I would need to get the ok from my fiance" (didn't want to give up my position as I was interested in buying asap). So he then said "well I can't just let you go on a joy ride if you're not a serious buyer and want to buy today, this is a high performance vehicle" "And are you even over 21" (the salesman looked younger than me but I don't judge) I may look young, however I am 26 and I am a disabled veteran of the U.S. Navy and did not deserve to be disrespected as someone who is out for a joy ride. So I was saying I would just come back later with my fiance, and he tried to clear up his meaning but just got ruder. I had a check in my pocket from my bank for the purchase of this car (because I am a serious buyer) so I took it out and let him know how serious I was and then walked out. More
