Ridiculous Customer Service in New Car Sales. My worst car buying experience to date. Chris Danzell is a great salesman but his manager and the dealership manager are worthless. Richard was very knowledgeable and friendly, and he didn't try to push me into a vehicle that I wasn't looking for. He helped me find the right car for me, at a price I could afford. I my fiance and I walked into Mazda of Clear Lake simply with the intentions of looking to see what was on the lot, since we weren't really in the market for a new car. Bought a new Mazda from this dealership. Deal started out o.k. until it was time to close the paperwork. $500.00 in additional and unauthorized charges were added to the invoices without any discussion. out o.k. until it was time to close the paperwork. $500.00 in additional and unauthorized charges were added to the invoices without any discussion. Other questionable items like "dealer inventory tax charge" were also added. When I caught the deception the employees involved tried to justify charges by "everybody does it". I think that the dealership (which is part of a chain in Houston) is really promoting deceptive trade practices. I would not buy from them again and I would recommend that others try to trade elswhere. More

I showed up about an hour or so before the dealership closed but I was still greeted warmly and promptly. Chris bent over backwards to make sure I was accommodated, even at the late hour. Though I had done some research into the vehicle I was interested in - a Mazda3 5-door - Chris was still thoroughly informative on features and options I didn't know much about. After the test drive and Chris' information, I was ready to sign on the dotted line. I had to wait for quite some time for the finance rep, but Chris kept checking on me to let me know I hadn't been forgotten about. I will certainly consider Mazda of Clear Lake again when my lease is up, and I will certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a Mazda! More

We had GREAT experience when buying a mazda 3i touring at this dealer. To make it short and show how great our feeling: by the end of all the contract signatures my wife asking me if we should give Chris a " this dealer. I have a friend working for Mazda at different dealer and even that my friend still suggested me to buy my car at Mazda of Clear Lake because of the service (life time oil change, etc). I always heard that the sale man is trained to stress the customer to buying the car or change attitude once you bought the car. Chris Danzell is very different. The car dealer closed at 9:00PM but Chris was staying very late with us to go through all of details about this new car until 10:00 PM WITHOUT SHOWING any sign of letting us leave until he went through all of small details: set up bluetooth, be careful to clean the allu wheel with strong cleaning product, etc. My words seem to advertize Mazda of Clear Lake but it's my ways to express how happy my son, my wife, and me when buying Mazda 3i touring. Thank Chris for your service and our happy moment. More
