Gerson was awesome! He wasn't just a salesman, I realized he was my peer as well. After a little bit of conversation with him, I found out that he also sold a vehicle to my company commander in my unit. Afte he was my peer as well. Matt was very helpful & patient. We have purchased many cars over the last 10 years and I can honestly say this was the best sales experience by far. There was not a lot of waiting around. When Matt went to speak to his manager, he would return in just a few short minutes with an answer. Matt did not make us feel pressured to buy, which ended up allowing us to really think about our purchase and elect a higher priced model with more features. His knowledge of the cars we were considering was apparent. Regarding the financing only with David, I was a little put off by the fact that the warranty and GAP coverages were added to our financing without asking first. Since we did not want to finance the warranty, there was a little pushback from David. In the past, we were informed of these options and discussed them prior to printing up the final paperwork for signatures. I would recommend that be a change to the process for future buyers rather than it seem like they were snuck in. One thing that bothered me unrelated to our purchase - there was a vehicle for sale on display just outside the right doors. I witnessed a number of employees / sales people sitting in this car with the engine running and air conditioner on. I would say I was at the dealership for about an hour and there were at least 2-3 employees / salespeople in the car at any time for the entire time I was there. If I was aware of this being done to a car I wanted to purchase, I would pass. More
Salespersons were nice and seemed honest. I pushed back and got the price down on the warranty I wanted but still think I paid too much. I could feel the slime oozing fromm the Fainance Director. This might be a very similar situation with most dealerships, but what a shame deals can't be done without dishonesty or continued pressure even after saying no. But, shame on me for not walking away when the pressure was applied. More

After our visit, I researched the car further and the inventory available at different dealerships. I requested internet price quotes from several dealers (including some outside the Houston area). Fred Souflee responded within 2 hours of my request and gave me a price that beat the other local dealers. Working with Fred was painless and there were no games. Fred was direct and easy to work with so I highly recommend the internet quote option if you know what you want. I did get a pretty long sell on extended warranty/insurance/service coverage options during the financing discussion. There are lots of choices so be sure to research this upfront so you know what you do and don't want going in. Overall I got a great price and a smooth purchase. Thanks! More
