I highly recommend both the Service and Sales departments at DePaula. The staff are knowledgeable and customer focused. Service called to tell me my car was ready but neglected to mention that they close st 4:00 on Saturday. Their website listed 5:00 as close time so I went to pick up my car at 4:45. My car was in front of the temporary service trailer (very confusing set up during construction) but the office door was locked. Then I notice the sign says they close at 4:00. I walked the length of the lot (in the rain) to the front office to ask how to get my car. "Service closes at 4" they said. Well, yes, I realize that now. The caller said "Your car is ready"... no mention of close time however the sales person continually insisted they would have told me when they called. But they didn't. The sales person just kept repeating that they were sales and they didn't have a key and couldn't do anything. Thanks. There were still people working in the service bays but no one had access to the office leaving me without my car until Monday. After that enough condescending "ma'am" repeats that no one had access to an entire department I walked back (in the rain) to the person who gave me a ride and had him take me home to get my spare key. By Monday at 2pm no one had called to follow up so apparently they didn't notice my car was gone or that my key had not been picked up. When I got there to pick up my key Monday the service rep asked if I knew where my car was parked (ha!) so obviously no one there knew my car was gone after they closed Saturday. How can they not have a key to their offices? How do you close without letting the customer know they can't get their car for 42 hours if they don't get there by 4pm. Why is their website showing 5;00 when service closes at 4:00? Why do you keep calling me ma'am and expecting that to seem like you're being helpful? A huge hassle and waste of my time because they don't have access to their own buildings. Ugh. More
