Service office reps are not female customer focused I had an appointment with the Service dept at this Ford dealership. I arrived a few minutes early and two male reps were on the phone. Another male cu I had an appointment with the Service dept at this Ford dealership. I arrived a few minutes early and two male reps were on the phone. Another male customer walked in behind me a few minutes later. When the first rep got off of the phone, he immediately started speaking to the gentleman behind me, completely ignoring the fact that I was standing there. I was about to say something when a young woman walked up to the cashier's window. I approached her and explained that it was my first time at that location and I wanted to make sure I was in the right place. She looked up my information and verified that I was, she told me my service advisor was the rep who was still on the phone and stated the he would be with me momentarily. When he got off the phone, he asked how he could help me. I described my car issue, he looked it up in his computer and then told me I was in the wrong location. He directed me to the Quick Lane service department next door. I drove to the secondary service location and the lady at the desk told me the first location I had gone to was correct but that she would help me anyway since her service center was able to handle my car's repair. I described what occurred earlier at the other service office and she responded "I get that feedback a lot". She gave me her card and told me in the future, to bring my car to her Quick Lane service site. She said they can handle almost all repairs. More
I was out of state and needed a service on my Ford F350 dually 1 ton pickup. (diesel) The mechanic accidentally broke my radiator and they replaced it at their cost. A week later I started having a leaking dually 1 ton pickup. (diesel) The mechanic accidentally broke my radiator and they replaced it at their cost. A week later I started having a leaking problem. T went to my usual Ford Dealership and upon inspection they found Antelope Valley Ford had put in the wrong radiator plus the radiator had a faulty valve and was leaking transmission fluid. The radiator was actually half the size of my radiator and was for a Ford F150 (not 350) and for a gas engine (not diesel)! The new and proper radiator I had to have installed cost me $587.00. I called AVF and reported the problem asking for my expenses to be reimbursed. It is now a week later and I finally find out after many unanswered phone calls that AVF did not replace the radiator, they sent it out to a radiator shop. The radiator shop says the radiator they installed was sufficient for the pickup. So AVF and their preferred radiator shop can't seem to decide who is responsible. I pull travel trailers and 5th wheels all over the western US and Canada delivering them to the dealerships. Some are very heavy. The radiator shop claiming the radiator they installed was sufficient...I doubt they knew my profession? I feel that AVF is ultimately responsible. They had my vehicle which they broke, with out my knowledge they sent it to someone else to fix and did it improperly..Now i have had to pay the price. Although I thought the people in the Quick Service Lane were very nice..I will never ever stop at Antelope Valley Ford again! More

Dealer quoted me $382 for an after market part from NAPA Auto Parts that Ford no longer produces. I went to NAPA myself and got the part for $125, and then just brought the part into the dealership. I und Auto Parts that Ford no longer produces. I went to NAPA myself and got the part for $125, and then just brought the part into the dealership. I understand dealer mark-up and profit, but a 206% dealer mark up on a non-Ford part was outrageous! The dealer also quoted me $1288 for a new air conditioning system because it was broken. I denied this service because I did not have the money at the time to repair, but when I picked my car up and drove it home, the AC system was and is still working just fine. Now, I have extreme trouble trusting this dealership's service department. They were real close to ripping me off of $1288 for the new AC and $257 for the high marked up after market NAPA part. It is a shame as I have owned Ford vehicles for over 15 years now and never had a problem with any Ford service department. More
On Thursday June 30, 2011 my truck blew a high pressure fuel line. In a panic for the part I called your dealership (late in the day) and talked to John Rondou. John was very professional on the phone with fuel line. In a panic for the part I called your dealership (late in the day) and talked to John Rondou. John was very professional on the phone with me and explained that indeed the part would have to be ordered. Mr. Rondou took the time to explain that if I ordered the part on line and had it dropped at dealership then it would be ready for pick up early the next day (Friday.) My family and I were preparing for a vacation get-A-way on the 4th, so this was extremely good news!!! The part came early Friday morning and John called me in a very timely manner. I picked the part up and made the repairs. John basically saved the day for us! He was very Knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Well done John, well done!! From my wife and two children and I : THANK YOU!! More

I bought a battery from this service department in April 2008. The battery was covered under a 84 month warranty. The service department did not want to prorate my warranty for the new battery I was receivi 2008. The battery was covered under a 84 month warranty. The service department did not want to prorate my warranty for the new battery I was receiving. I was told that I needed a receipt even though it was documented in the computer that I had purchased the battery there. I received a bill for $136.00. It was only after I questioned my warranty for the second time that I was told that I would only need to pay $45.00 for the battery. This service department is the worst. I usually take my care down below to Vista Ford but I had to get a battery. I would not recommend this service department to anyone. They did not provide good customer service. In addtion I was told that I could not use my advanatge dollars because my account was deactivated. I was told that if the acoount is not used in 18 months the dollars are forfited. This is another reason why I take my car elsewhere to be serviced. More
