Pleasantly surprised! I was a little hesitant to even walk in the doors… my credit is way less than great, and I had $5,000 in negative equity on my trade in and no money t I was a little hesitant to even walk in the doors… my credit is way less than great, and I had $5,000 in negative equity on my trade in and no money to put down. I’ll save you the long story as to why I need to get out of my trade in fast, but here I was setting myself up for what I thought was going to be another rejection! Then we meet Doug Kenaga! Doug was great, never once to he make us feel bad about our crappy credit; he was genuinely friendly (not that salesman friendly) but really friendly! He was 100% upfront with us about our options, and worked hard to find the perfect car for us, and that he did! Not only did he get us into a brand new car but, he came in on his day off (one of the first sunny days of the year I should ad) just to make sure we got liked car and that everything went smoothly. The great customer service did not stop at Doug either! Our Finance Manager Eric Laursen at Dick Hannah Nissan was great too! He worked hard to get us financed in a brand new car, even with odds stacked against us. BUT, what’s even better about that is, even after he already had a confirmed deal that we accepted, he worked hard to get us a better interest rate 6 points lower! With a lower car payment, $65 less! Without us even asking, it was a great surprise!! When does that happen? I car dealership asked you to come back and resign paperwork because they found you a lower rate and lower car payment! So, thank you Dick Hannah dealerships for really standing behind your tagline of Believing in Nice. Thank you Doug for being such a great guy and taking care of us every step up of the way. Thank you Eric for making sure you go the best deal for us, and not just the first deal that came your way. Thank you Carl for walking us through how to use all the bells and whistles on our new car.
