Follow Up from Last/Final Repair - STILL NOT FIXED! Dick Huvaere's had my car for 12 days initially. I had written the review at that time after I got my Journey back and an hour later discovered it was Dick Huvaere's had my car for 12 days initially. I had written the review at that time after I got my Journey back and an hour later discovered it was leaking transmission fluid all over my driveway! Took it back immediately. They had it another 8 days.....20 days total. Fixed? NOPE!!! After confirming with the Service Manager that it was taken for a test drive and ran fine, I got no more than 2 miles from the dealership and started having the SAME issue as what I took it in for 20 days earlier!!! So annoying and frustrating!!! I will NEVER take another car to this dealership for repair or buy another one from them either!!! Just bought a new car from Ray Lathem in Grosse Pointe and had a WONDERFUL experience! They gave me the USAA discount that Dick Huvaere's said I couldn't get and even beat the best deal Huvaere could give me! They also gave me $1,500 more for my trade-in! RAY LATHEM is the ONLY "TrueCar" dealership in the area and can't be beat! Don't waste your time at Huvaere, call 313-886-1700 and save money and frustration. More
Repair of 2013 Chrysler Town & Country My last experience with getting this vehicle repaired lasted from 06/02/2014 until I picked the vehicle up on 08/01/2014. Yes, 61 days. Chrysler (FCA) My last experience with getting this vehicle repaired lasted from 06/02/2014 until I picked the vehicle up on 08/01/2014. Yes, 61 days. Chrysler (FCA) was slow in sending help from Auburn Hills to assist in solving this most elusive electrical problem. This vehicle was brought in for service on 5 separate occasions for the same problem for a total of 86 days in the service garage. This does not include the 5 days the vehicle was in my garage getting the battery charged so I could start the car and drive it to the dealership. FCA was slow to respond to provide help to the dealership and is dragging their feet in responding to my MI Lemon Law lawsuit. More
12 days to fix my car - had to take it back an hour later!!! I have gone to this location for years. However, quality of service has gone downhill in the last 6 months for sure! I called a couple months ago for service on an issue I was having with my car. I was told by one of the service guys that whether I brought my car in two days or 30 days, they would not even get a chance to look at it for several days (my car would sit on the lot). Therefore, I went elsewhere for that issue since Huvaere's was simply too busy for my business. A couple months later, I HAD to take it to a dealership regarding a warranty issue. This transmission issue turned into them having my car for 12 days! Since this was a "Powertrain" warranty issue and the car has over 36,000 miles on it, there was no loaner car allowed. Mike did call me a couple times to update me on parts they were waiting on or parts they received. However, we had to initiate the final call to find out my car was actually done and waiting for pick up! 1st time we called, we were put on hold for 20 minutes! No exaggeration!!! 2nd time we called, the phone just rang and rang and rang. Ironically about a minute after hanging up, they called us back (hmmm...perhaps caller ID?) to let us know the car was ready. We got the car home, re-installed my son's car sear and DVD system and then my husband noticed that the car was leaking transmission fluid all over the driveway!!! Seriously!? Needless to say, we had to take the car back. Not happy! More

BEWARE OF OIL CHANGE I recently went to this place for an oil change. I paid for the services and was told my car was good to go. I drove about a mile and stopped for ga I recently went to this place for an oil change. I paid for the services and was told my car was good to go. I drove about a mile and stopped for gas where I discovered oil pouring out of my vehicle. I immediately went back to Huvaere’s where they were waiting for me. The stated they would clean my vehicle up and fix the problem, which was supposedly a bad filter or employee error. I then drove home, parked my Jeep in my driveway where oil was still dripping everywhere. I called them back and made an appointment to go back AGAIN and get the vehicle cleaned properly on a hoist. After my husband saw the solid trail of oil all over the parking lot from my vehicle when I got the oil changed, we got concerned we could have engine damage due to this incident and spoke with the General Manager reference this issue. We, eventually, came to a resolution for all parties concerned, however, this simply should NOT happen!!!! So beware…if you go to this place to get your oil changed, start your car and look underneath the engine before leaving the parking lot because they obviously don’t check the vehicle after they perform maintenance on them to ensure everything was done correctly. More

We only came to the service center for an oil change. We live 45 minutes from this dealership, but we choose to come all the way here because the service is excellent. I bought a brand new 2014 Durango had it 2 days and the engine light came on took it back waited 2 days before any one called and then they made it seem only a couple days it would be fixed they had to rep engine light came on took it back waited 2 days before any one called and then they made it seem only a couple days it would be fixed they had to replace the entire gas tank! Checked on progress the next day still waiting on part talk to manager in the sales dept. and he told me it might be a month before they got the part!! Called Chrysler because at this point I did not even want the car I wanted a new one and they said you can claim it under the lemon law we won't exchange it, knowing full well it would qualify for the lemon law yet. They said they would expedite the part. They ended up replacing the tank with one that was compatible one and got the car back in about a week and a half. I think only because I called everyday! Never offered anything to make for it they gave me a free rental and figured that was enough. Then a week later the engine light came on in my other car a Chrysler 200 they had it for 3days and said nothing's wrong software error but watch and see if it start acting up ? I am so disappointed with this dealer they seemed to lie,not know things . One person tells u a couple days and the other tells u a month ridiculous! I have been going there for yrs but now I don't think I'll be going back More
