awful experience, won't ever go back Service department is garbage. second visit with my current truck. First was a warrantee, took 3+ days to reflash the computer because the diesel injection was screwing up. This trip was the nail in the coffin of ever, EVER using this dealer again for anything. I will drive to another dealer all day, every day before I go back to this on. I have purchased a vehicle at this dealer and have taken multiple chrysler products for service. Between my wife and I, we have had a couple dozen chrysler cars and trucks. So lets get back to the most recent visit. I was in to get the oil changed and fuel filter replaced. I brought my own oil. The service tech evidently can't see or read because the direction to use customer oil was on the paperwork, The jug of oil was on the floor in view. Surprise! they used the generic bulk oil. Scott comes out to tell me that they didn't use my oil and do I want to drain the oil they put in or leave it and they would not charge me for the oil. I told him to leave it in. I wasn't happy but oh well. Then I got the bill. They charged me $15 labor for changing the oil/filter and $100 to change the fuel filter. This morning I looked on youtube to see how difficult it is...... Its a 10 minute job at the most. So the "I will eat the cost of the oil" BS is just that BS!!!! So an oil service and fuel filter changed where I brought the oil still cost me just shy of $240. Talk about getting screwed. So I looked online and I can buy Mopar filters and synthetic oil totaling $125. I have no problem paying extra for someone to change it for me but 100% markup is obscene! It is a true shame you let your last service writer Jessie leave. He knew how to run a service group. OH I forgot to mention when I got home I took a look under the truck and hood because the overwhelming smell of diesel, I was concerned it was leaking. Nope not leaking but oil and diesel were all over the engine compartment because the idiot that changed the oil/filters didn't bother to use a shop rag and wipe his mess up. I had to do that when I got home. I think the dealership even charged me $18.25 for misc supplies. Know for sure it wasn't a shop rag! My advice, go to Pinkney, Brighton, Fenton, Lansing anywhere but Dick Scott in Fowlerville. I wish I could give zero stars! More

Very disappointing and I expect better from DSMM. Answering service is a joke. 2 transfers then a dropped call. Finally spoke with service and arranged an 8am appt the next day. After great personal arrangement, I got the car there at 8am. Expecting a call all day for an estimate and explanation of what they found. I call at 3pm and he says they're not through with it yet. I had to have the car. I show up and see that the car was never touched or looked at! Why was there an agreed upon appt set at 8am and the car wasn't going to be looked at until after 3pm or not at all ! He said they had a big workload. Poor. The $127 price for a monitor hook up to evaluate the problem is ridiculous too ! I have to go elsewhere and I am very disappointed. I have bought 6 new vehicles from DSMM over the years and I am seriously considering going to another dealership next time if this is the way Service treats their customers. I have a good mind to speak with Mr. Scott.. Shameful. More

Not really great follow up The service manager is really nice, and the courtesy shuttle was great and no waits, that being said, my windshield washer wasn't working on my 2017 R The service manager is really nice, and the courtesy shuttle was great and no waits, that being said, my windshield washer wasn't working on my 2017 Ram, took to service, was told "It just didn't have enough fluid in it to work, or turn indicator light off" and I took it out the door, Refilled reservoir, STILL DIDN"T WORK LIGHT STILL ON< just same way I took it in, SO, I called and made appointment and returned vehicle to service dept., This time they said "We did find a small leak in the reservoir, and the part has to be ordered, I'll call you tomorrow (Wed) so you know you can bring it in on Thursday and get it replaced as it is 2 hr book repair" OK, Well, Wed, came and went, as now has Thursday and Friday, no phone call, no info, NOTHING" I should not have to keep calling THEM over and over to get things moving. A good service department, diagnoses and fixes things completely and correctly the first time, or gets parts ordered, makes sure the parts arrive and THEN CALLS the customer to let them know their parts are in so they can return vehicle for the completed repair. This has not happened in the two times I have had to try to get service at Dick Scott Motor Mall in Fowlerville. While I understand service departments are busy, continued lack of follow through or incomplete/incorrect repairs are not they I think they want to become "Less" busy. More
