All was fine until time to pay when the authorized amount increased with no prior communication of any kind. The amount was $20. When I asked why I was told the “system” doesn’t add labor to the authorized increased with no prior communication of any kind. The amount was $20. Not for me anymore. Made an appointment for a week out for an oil change. Arrived and after an hour of waiting I was told they do not have a filter for my car. Told it will arrive in 30 minutes. 1:15 minutes later the filter arrived. Went to speak with the manager Aaron about not having the filter before and his reply was we’re no longer a Genesis dealer! My reply is that my appointment was a week out , do you not look to see what parts are need for upcoming appointments? Then Aaron’s side kick says , oh you’re the one that brought in your own oil and they thought you had the filter. My reply, I didn’t say I was bringing my oil in. Besides in the past you didn’t carry what the manufacturer recommended in the 100% synthetic. Aaron’s answer…. Yes we do. Round and round we go…. NOWHERE! No I’m sorry , just a lot of back talk . The bill for an oil change was $30.00 labor $25.41 oil filter $2.00 misc. charge? Just under $60.00 for and oil change and I supplied the oil!!! I have never paid that at Dick Smith in the past. This morning I received a text from the dealer saying if I can’t give a positive review please call. CALL!!! Why so they can bury my experience? I had a dead battery in my SUV. Roadside assistance gave me a jumpstart so I could eat to the dealer. Prior to going to the dealer, I called them and spoke with a very helpful gent Roadside assistance gave me a jumpstart so I could eat to the dealer. Prior to going to the dealer, I called them and spoke with a very helpful gentleman whose name was, Javvari? Or a name very similar sounding, who told me to head on over and they would help me out. Arrived at the dealer, checked in, they took my car back, replaced the battery, and was on my way in about 20 minutes. Great service and thanks for getting me in so fast Mr. J!! More
