I bought a Hyundai Elantra on 1/17/14. The first salesman to approach me was Josh Zifer, a friendly young man who literally ran from one place to another to find people to answer my questions. Every person with whom I came into contact in Customer Service was friendly and worked quickly to help me out, and help me out they did, as you will see. First, I tried a Chevrolet, and Josh was willing to let me drive wherever I wanted. That was a good car, but a little more than I could afford. Josh asked me if there were any other cars I'd like to try. I said, I like Hyundais. I looked at a sedan, but decided that all I needed was a coupe, because I'm single. So Josh and I took another ride. He let me take the Elantra Coupe out on the highway for a stretch. I said, I want to try the passing gear, which Josh understood. As soon as I felt the immediate power, I slowed back down. This little car moves! The Elantra had much more room inside than my old KIA, and it was noticeably more powerful. I can adjust the seat and steering wheel just the way I want. Finally, after all these years, a comfortable car! I had a hard time keeping up with Josh as he ran here and there to fix me up as fast as possible with my barely used black Elantra. I even had a hard time keeping up with him when he was walking. Josh is an energetic, considerate, and soft-spoken person. No high pressure. I told Josh it was very important for me to have a compass. He asked me to wait in his office while he ran over to talk to Chris. Chris came over and said, What would it take to get you into a car? (He knew I wanted that compass). Then he offered to put a mirror compass in for me at the company's expense. Thanks, Chris! When It came time for me to buy the car, I met Ken in the Finance Department. Ken was amiable and had everything ready when I walked into his office. He was fast! As for price, I saw the same car on Edmunds.com. According to Edmunds's statistics, my used car was $1,700 DOLLARS LESS than the average person paid for the same NEW car I had just bought from Dick Smith Hyundai of Greenville, SC. I love my new car! It's very roomy and fun to drive! After driving the car home, I realized that the remote transmitter was missing from the Manuals packet. That was disappointing, so I called to let the company know what happened. Meanwhile, Josh himself called me up when the mirror compass card arrived and allowed me to pick my appointment time. A few days later, I noticed that one of the fog lights was out, so I remembered to mention that when I went in for my appointment today. The Service Department installed the mirror compass and the fog lamp. I wasn't sure whether I'd have to pay for the remote transmitter, which I was also concerned about. When I was told my car was ready today, the mirror was in place and works beautifully. I was pleased to find that it was a top-of-the-line mirror, because the brochure first showed one mirror compass. I thought, that doesn't look like mine. Right under that first compass description, I saw that my compass was equipped with more handy features. You'd like it if you saw it. After being told my car was ready today, the young lady at the Service Desk said she didn't know whether I'd have to pay for a remote or not, and another employee turned to me and said, If you have to pay for it, it will cost a lot less. They said they'd have to order a new transmitter. About that time, the athlete, Josh, showed up, Follow me, as he jogged over to talk to someone in the Parts Department. Then he said, Follow me. I was getting a good workout. He told me to have a seat while he talked with the manager. He hustled back with a remote transmitter in his hand and a smile on his face. I said, You found one? He smiled. I said, For free? He said, Yeah, still smiling. He said, All they have to do is program it and that it shouldn't take more than half an hour, but I could swear it didn't take more than 15 minutes. After being there twice, I can say without reservation that the dealership is has the best Service Department. Someone from Service would always come in to let a customer know how far along the work on their car was, and that it shouldn't be long before they would be finished. Am I satisfied? How could I not be? Now I'm thinking of places to go just so I can ride my fun Hyundai Elantra! More

This was by far the best experience I have ever had when it came to purchasing a car!! Not only did I receive a great car at a great price, but, the customer service received from both Mr. Jarvis Smith in it came to purchasing a car!! Not only did I receive a great car at a great price, but, the customer service received from both Mr. Jarvis Smith in the Sales Department & Mr. Kenneth Galloway in the Financing Department was outstanding! Both of these gentleman were honest, professional, dependable and trustworthy. Never did I feel any pressure in purchasing. Both Mr. Smith and Mr. Galloway made what is usually "a tense experience", a very comfortable one! Never did I imagine leaving with a 2011 Hyundai Sonata (very low mileage) at such a great financing rate, and most importantly, never did I think I would receive such sincere & geniune customer service! Because of Mr. Jarvis Smith and Mr. Kenneth Galloway, I have no plans on shopping any place else when it comes to a car! I recommend anyone interested in shopping for a new car to give these guys at Dick Smith Hyundai a try; you will not be disappointed! M.W Greenville More

Dick Smith really do mean it when they "we'll treat you right". I can't fault this dealership. I needed some paintwork damage fixed on the trunk and these guys re-sprayed the whole thing to a professional standard, without hesitation (thanks Will). I shall definitely return Dick Smith at Greenville for my next purchase. Highly recommended! More

Stephen (Chuck) Akin was our sales person. I was impressed with Chuck's patience, and also his knowledge of the Hyundai vehicle that my husband and I purchased. We purchased the Hyundai Turbo Spor impressed with Chuck's patience, and also his knowledge of the Hyundai vehicle that my husband and I purchased. We purchased the Hyundai Turbo Sport. We changed our minds a few times as to what we wanted, and Chuck remained professional and tried to help us by telling us the features of each different model. He was also very pleasant and nice to work with. The Sales Manger, also was helpful and patient as Chuck went to him as to what vehicle we wanted. We ended up with the best vehicle for us and the color I wanted. He also came out to meet us and was also friendly. We also dealt with Ken regarding the finances and warranty end of our purchase. He was also very professional and knowledgable. Ken was also very pleasant and nice to work with.
