He managed the repairs, and my rental vehicle, from start to finish and I could not have asked for better service. We turned in a ’14 SRX on 11/29/17 that was on lease and decided on leasing a 2018 XT5(Base model)working with John Fabriele. Good customers, us, since this would be the 3rd vehicle that we got from Dimmitt and that John got the commission on. During negotiations, John was asked about special discounts/sales/etc. that might help us. We had a 2nd car, so we would be able to wait. Nope and the offer on the table is a good price per John and we assume the management staff. Six days(12/05/17) later Dimmitt advertised more 2018 XT5’s(no specific vins) at an excellent deal. Our remorse was that we traded in our 2nd car plus cash to arrive at our new lease rate with Dimmitt. The 12/05/17 advertisement showed a payment that was slightly less than ours, but the remorse is that the down payment advertised was $4.6k less than the ‘good price’ John negotiated for us. Now we are not naïve and understand most sales/ advertising techniques are part of doing business and that they usually don’t favor the customer. However, a $4.6 direct hit takes the ‘edge’ off driving the new XT5 and our perception of Dimmitt. After several emails to Dimmitt and John they only responded that they understand our question, but nothing more. More
