Will not buy from here again was never told that in order for oil change to be under warranty I had to get oil changed every 5000 miles but was told at purchase every 10000 miles and the warranty runs out at for oil change to be under warranty I had to get oil changed every 5000 miles but was told at purchase every 10000 miles and the warranty runs out at 20000 miles but they had it scheduled at 21000 which should of been told up front at purchase and they also run your credit multiple times and it knocks your credit way down even if you tell them to only run it 2 times my credit was ran 6 times at different credit places and banks More
I am not happy with the service department. I was told I needed new brakes they had the parts. I get a call they didn’t have all the parts that it would be the next day. I don’t hear from service department until I come to get my car when I’m told the parts weren’t delivered they would get them the next day. This makes day 3 I get my check brakes they felt mushy they took it mechanic said it needs brake line flush. Why is this not done or recommend sooner. I now have to put out another 145.00 dollars and I’m with out my car another day. The only thing I’ll be letting this dealer do is my oil change and tire rotation. More
Purchased a 18 Titan in January 2022 from another dealer. The dealer checked them on 2/14/18 and determined the heated seats needed to be replaced due to very poor heating. Because the truck was still under warranty the dealer advised it needed to be done by a Nissan dealer to maintain the warranty. So setup an appointment to have them checked out at Nissan of Shelby a couple days later on 2/18/22. First off the Tech tried to convince me 78* was normal operating temp for heated seats. After I didn't buy it and advised him and the Service Director that I knew it wasnt anywhere near specs they then proceeded to "try acouple other things". Half the day later with no better results they finally agreed they weren't working up to specs and they would need to submit them to Nissan Tech Line for replacement. Well several weeks go by with no response and cant get them to return calls. So I reached out to Nissan Consumer affairs. They send out a regional inspector who quickly determines they aren't working properly and advises me they need to be replaced under warranty. That parts will be ordered and the seats repaired properly. That was on 3/17/22. Several more weeks go by with no word on the repair until the rep from Consumer affairs calls on 4/7/22 and advises me the repair has been authorized and the dealer should contact me to set it up ASAP. Well its now almost 3 weeks later and still not repaired. Only feedback Ive gotten from the service dpmt is they have the parts but some of them arent right. And only way I got that info is speaking with the service manager and advising her that Ive been continuously blown off and never called back with information and updates. So yesterday I get the info that the parts are in but the seat bottoms are missing a key component. But they have the parts manager looking inot it right now and thyell let me know whats the status and the plan moving forward no later than 400 PM. Guess What. Nothing and when I call today to get an update they're surprisingly not available. The service dpmt is horrible. Not only do they hope people will just take what they tell them at face value and not question it. Their inability to keep a customer updated as to the status of things is simply amazing. I wonder how many people, particularly those seeking warranty service have simply just eventually given up out of frustration because of the lack of professionalism. More
Bought a vehicle on 7/17/21 didn’t get the vehicle until 7/30. Light came on 7/31 was informed on 8/16 it needed a transmission when I took it to another dealership for a recall on a sensor. They notified them and Nissan Dealership refused to pay and said wait until I get to 5,000 miles for warranty to pay and now they are telling me the warranty company want cover it! The dealership should have covered it 7 months ago when I bought it. Then on top of that the warranty that I signed for on 7/17/21 was never sent fully to the warranty company so it wasn’t active this whole time until i called and inquired about the policy I was given! Service dept is terrible, broke lug nuts on my tires and they can’t keep techs. Everytime I go it is always new people. They went from full staff service representatives to having one and then the manager. Don’t buy your car from here please read the reviews. When I went to get my tags for my vehicle it was a lady in the dealership upset about her car and how they messed it up and I should have known then to RUN!! It’s definitely the worse car buying lol experience I have had. Stick to with Carmax or another dealership this place isn’t worth the trouble and headache. Oh yeah, they want tell you who runs the place. Everyone is clueless and gives you the general manager name and that’s it! Everyone has a boss sir but you want give me yours!! More
Oil change 8/28....I've driven my car 3 times since.....oil leaking each time. Service Dept can not get it together! 2nd time in a year I've had issues with service dept. I went to get an oil change and was turned away by the person at the service desk. I am guessing they had a bad day and took it out on me. So I went to Nisan of Gastonia and they changed my oil and was ou person at the service desk. I am guessing they had a bad day and took it out on me. So I went to Nisan of Gastonia and they changed my oil and was out in an hour. They were happy to take my money and Nissan of Gastonia gave great service unlike Nissan of Shelby. They have had a lot of changes and not for the better. More
Bought a New Sentra went for oil change and rotation was told oil change be free ended up paying for everything not very happy....!!!!!!! Terribly disappointed in service dept today waited 3 1/2 hours with an appointment to get work done. My time is worth something to me. Highly dissatisfied with the customer service manager after my visit today. After attempting to get new tires at another location my wheel lock was missing. Went to Nissan of Shelby to have the wheel loc after my visit today. After attempting to get new tires at another location my wheel lock was missing. Went to Nissan of Shelby to have the wheel lock removed and asked for a replacement due to the fact my car (2019 Rogue) has always been serviced and tires rotated at this location, it apparently was not replaced in my vehicle after a service appointment. Service manager wanted to charge me for this, I refused to pay as this missing wheel lock was not my fault. Service manager continued not to provide appropriate customer service and I told her I would not give any more of my business to this location although I have purchased 4 vehicles from this location. Corporate has already been contacted. This is not how I expect to be treated from this dealership! 2 thumbs down! More
