Due to a system error, this vehicle was stocked in to our accounting system priced incorrectly from a vendor process that also prints window stickers. Hello Adam - Thank you for your recent visit to our Xpress vehicle maintenance department. We're sorry to learn the requested / needed services of this day took longer than originally anticipated. In reviewing the service notes, we find where our technicians encountered some technical difficulties with the reprogramming required for a GM recall. Technology is great (when it cooperates!) We apologize for any frustrations or inconvenience this delay may have caused. As to the additional maintenance recommendations presented during this visit - Please know that on each service visit we are going to recommend repairs / maintenance due because of time/mileage or as the result of a visual inspection. We follow GM's guidelines for maintenance schedules and with your vehicle having 55k miles - there are additional recommended services due. You made a significant investment when you purchased your truck, and it just makes sense to keep it running the way it should with regular maintenance. For your peace of mind - we will continue to make these recommendations and it is certainly your option to accept or decline as you see fit.
