I told him I didn’t have lots of time and he had lots of stuff taken care of prior to my arrival. I don’t like buying cars but this was a great experience and I highly recommend him and the dealership! Finance portion was incredibly painless and Jason Holt is the best finance guy! Thanks for a memorable experience and a great new reliable car. More

I knew this was an older vehicle and didn’t expect it to be perfect, but I do have reasonable expectations when purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. There were a handful of things that I was disappointed with from the dealership. 1. The dealership posted the vehicle online with pictures on a Tuesday or Wednesday. From the pictures it was a clean truck. I drove 1.5 hours to go look at the vehicle that Friday and discovered that the vehicle wasn’t ready to be showed or driven. I was told I would have to come back no earlier than the following Tuesday to look at it. The right thing to do is to post the vehicle when it’s ready. 2. The guys who clean the vehicles did such a bad job that I could hardly see out of the windshield from them smearing on the glass. 3. There were several minor cosmetic issues with the vehicle that were brought up but were never fixed by the dealership. First the headliner was sagging behind the windshield, second the driver’s seat floor mat was missing, third there were a couple small dings that could have easily been removed. 4. Our sales man smoked and smelt like smoke. Anytime we were outside our salesman would smoke in front of us which I found very unprofessional. Also, when we were able to look at the vehicle at first, I thought it had a smoky odor to it, then figured out it was our salesman not the truck. 5. The dealership raved about their “172 Point Inspection” their service department performs. There is a known service bulletin for all GM trucks/SUVs posted by GM ranging I think from 1999 to 2007.5 models for the intermediate steering shaft and shaft bearing. When I was pulling out of the lot I could hear the steering shaft and bearing rattling telling me they needed to be replaced. I took the truck to a shop I trust to do the repair. I would think as a part of the inspection would be to look at service bulletins by GM and see if any need to be performed. Next the tires on the vehicle did not match and one was obviously low on tread. I wanted to just switch the tires from my other truck I was trading in to this truck but wanted it to be done by the service department at no cost to me. They refused, and I ended up having to take it to Discount Tire and paid for it to be done. Discount tire told me the tread depth on one tire was 5/32” and another was 7/32”. The legal tread depth in Texas is 2/32”. Those two tires didn’t have much more life in them, thought that would have been in the inspection too. 6. When I was leaving the dealership, I noticed the truck was on E and the dash told me the truck had 27 miles until empty. I went in and couldn’t find my salesman but spoke to his manager who told me they put, if I remember correctly, 7 gallons in used vehicles when sold. When he instructed my salesman to do so, he acted like it was a hassle, even though he knew I was coming over 24 hours in advance. 7. After driving the vehicle for a while I noticed my plates were about to expire. The expiration date was August 22nd. I started calling the dealership on August 15th and called several times all on separate days and each time was told they would call me back. After finally getting a call back on August 21st, they said they had my plates and I could pick them up or have them mailed. After receiving them in the mail I reviewed the registration paper to find that it was issued on July 19th and had been sitting at the dealership for a month. 8. The finance guys were great. I don’t recommend this dealership. Go somewhere else. More
