This was the very Best car buying experience I have had. That says “a lot”. Everyone I dealt with took their time and made me feel Welcome and comfortable. If I could have given negative stars I would have. Went in for oil change and tire rotation on Dec 16. They came out and showed me my 2 air filters that needed replaced. I inquired about price and oka Went in for oil change and tire rotation on Dec 16. They came out and showed me my 2 air filters that needed replaced. I inquired about price and okayed the 2 air filters to be replaced. Paid my bill which came to $204.00. Got in my vehicle and massively strong odor of something but thought perhaps technician had oil or gas on their shoes. Drove the car and started getting light headed and nauseated. Got home and got out to find something smoke like coming out from under the hood. Called Chuck Nicholson Mazda and they asked if I would bring it back, which I did. The front desk person came out and told me the technician had not secured the oil cap and it was sitting sideways and oil pumping out onto my engine making it smell and look like it was over heating. I got a, “sorry about that” as they apparently hosed off the engine, tightened the cap, and stuck air fresheners in my car and that was all. Took it home and next day big xxx oil puddle on my garage floor. My husband put down a piece of cardboard in case it continued to leak. Sure enough, next day - yep. Coming home last night I could still smell something like it was overheating. My husband took it to another shop today to get checked out and was reported the oil plug was only “finger tightened” and could have come off at any time and take a guess what that would have done to my Mazda? They were not even sure synthetic oil had been used so another oil change again today of almost $75. So, I do not know what dumb xxxxxxx(s) (and I’m being extremely nice when I say that because I could use harsher words at this point) Chuck Nicholson has working for them but you can best your xxx I will NEVER step foot back in there, nor will I ever buy another vehicle from them! I do love my Mazda and I take great care of it but I will NOT tolerate that kind of “service!” Word of mouth is powerful and I intend to use it! They may be local to Dover, OH, but they need a complete overhaul in their service department! Get your xxxx together, people! Not ok by any means! More
