I called on the availability of a car that was advertised for a specific amount. I asked if it was availability and asked if the price was still the specific amount. I told them the amount and they said ye for a specific amount. I asked if it was availability and asked if the price was still the specific amount. I told them the amount and they said yes. I drove down to test drive it and the first thing they told me was that the head of sales said it was no longer available for that price. I told the sales person I had spoken to on the phone that he said it was available for that price. His answer was that it was still a good price. I let him know that I do not do business like that and walked to my car. The whole way he was saying it was still a good deal. Once I got in the car and he realized I was going to leave he said wait and he would ask again. He then came out and said they could do the advertised price. I specifically asked him again that other than closing cost that would be the final price. He said yes. So the next day my wife and I drive 70 miles to the dealership. We test drive the car and are ready to buy it. Sit down for the paperwork and the car is now $1,600 more!!! He says that it was because of the extras that were on the car and it was listed in the add. I showed him the add and said where is what it said in the add. You had to click on a link that had additional options on it. In it the print it said there could be additional cost for options that the car had. I told him I asked the day before if that was the complete cost and he said yes. When I questioned him on that he said that he pointed out those options to me when he was showing me the car, which he did. HOWEVER he never said it would add to the cost of the car, even when I asked him the final sale price of the car. Bottom line they pulled the usual used car games and were at a minimum withholding all of the information, and at worst lied. I do not accuse the sales person for outright lying to me, he was put in a bad spot by his superiors. I do fault him for what he said which was misleading. More

Service was terrible, absolutely terrible! I received no communication on updates regarding my vehicle. When it came time to pick up my vehicle my windshield was cracked, mirror and side of door scratched a communication on updates regarding my vehicle. When it came time to pick up my vehicle my windshield was cracked, mirror and side of door scratched and damaged and was left with no gas. If I hadn’t pointed out these damages the service department would of let me drive away with my vehicle in that condition. After bringing these damaged to their attention they tried to brush it off and say it didn’t happen on their property, even though there is picture and video proof. Once they agreed to take care of all damages no one person apologized to my wife and I. I felt that Downey Hyundai did not care for our vehicle the way a car dealer should care for one and they did not communicate at all. Any updates with my vehicle, I would have yo be the one to call and try to get ahold of someone. This was absolutely one of the worst services I have received from anywhere. More
