I asked for full synthetic oil change. But, I received blendedl static. Also, I saw the billing rate $195 for blended synthetic oil change. The 'add-ons' are so insane, that on the open market they can be purchased for under $100, but Downey charges the full sticker price for the car and THEN adds an additional $3700 in these nonsense 'add-ons' can be purchased for under $100, but Downey charges the full sticker price for the car and THEN adds an additional $3700 in these nonsense 'add-ons' to increase their profits. I would NEVER buy another car from Downey Hyundai. The Salesman Sergio was a very nice and pleasant person to work with, but NOT the 'manager' Adam! More
The guy who helped me - Mike, was great, helpful and knowledgeable. But I completely missed in the fact that the next trim up was only a little higher. Also, I got sold Nimbo security system (apparany I wouldn’t have been financed without it) and it’s honestly the crappiest thing ever. The app is not functional. It doesn’t show my car’a location. So I am not sure what did I pay a thousand bucks for 🤷♀️🤷♀️ Also, I got charged for various extras that car already had. Like the warning pulse light and anti scratch trip on the door edges 🤷♀️ The car already had all this and had a price tag... but I still was charged as if I was buying it extra! I even got a “List of due work” but in reality all of that work was already done. I feel everything was rushed and not entirely transparent. More
Salesman Sergio was excellent. He followed up and was not pushy. Poor rating for dealership was due to ridiculous fees for "accessories" that dealer apparently installs and you have to buy.
