Awful dealership that sell unsafe dangerous cars. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE THE CARS ARE UNSAFE THEY ARE SHADY AND DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFTY. My car cut out ON THE FREEWAY and their exact words aft DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE THE CARS ARE UNSAFE THEY ARE SHADY AND DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFTY. My car cut out ON THE FREEWAY and their exact words after inspecting the car were 'We could not locate the issue, car is ready for pickup' Also awful inhumane conversations like this - Hyundai case manager Jin - 'Your car is ready for pickup' Me - 'But Jin one of your guys experienced a stall how can you put me back in that unsafe car? What if I get in a major accident i've been lucky so far the car just blacks out and I have no control!! Hyundai case manager Jin - 'We will cross that bridge when we come to it' How can they get away with treating people this way? How can they get away with this? What kind of human being says that? I had originally purchased a Hyundai because I thought they care about customers and costumers safety. Well how wrong I was here is what happened.....Back in 2017 I bought my second Hyundai Sonata unfortunately this car was not the same as my 2012 model. One day there was a strange ticking noise coming from the engine, it also cut out on me whilst in motion on the street twice - Two recalls, Meanwhile I had been taking it into the dealership for them to fix the car but being told every time 'We cannot duplicate the issue' 'your car is ready for pickup' Hyundai therefore deciding it was safe to drive. Shortly after that it cut out on me whist ON THE FREEWAY. You should also know, I found out later all they were doing was a 'visual point inspection' which doest mean anything they just visually inspect the car and if the stall doesn't happen to them the car is ready to go. Can you believe it??! After knowing this I got the vehicle towed to the dealership, that was February 11th, and again being told 'we cannot locate the issue vehicle is ready for pickup' I then stood my ground this time and said no I cannot get back into this unsafe car. They clearly didn't care about my safety so I had to take extra measures. For them to ask me to drive a car that blacked out, absolutely flawed me, especially on the freeway - I was really lucky to come out unharmed. They finally gave in and agreed to drive the car around a few more days to see if they could locate the issue. Through this whole ordeal you should know that Hyundai were awful to me. They treated me like I was a nuisance and that I was making the whole thing up. Luckily a lawyer family friend did some research to see if anyone else was going through the same thing and wow... a HUGE law suit against Hyundai regarding a fault in the engines. A lot of people experiencing the exact same thing I was. They knew all along what was wrong but did not care about my safety or wellbeing - you should also know I was finally assigned a case manager from hyundai motor finance that also treated me appallingly and was still asking me to go pick up the car. One of the Hyundai Techs experienced the issue of it stalling out whilst in motion and it STILL made no difference. After a couple of days they again demanded I go pick up the car. At this point I secured a lawyer and began the process of suing them so I can recoup all the money I had spent on the car and resolving the issue because Hyundai had no intention of doing anything ethical. Today they are still being awful and very unethical. I went on to pay my monthly bill for a car I hadn't driven since February and they decided to reinstate the car. So now on top of all they have done they now have put a lien on my car and my name.Awful company do not do business with them!!! More
