Great service, but... My last visit was a little "eh" I had to do major work on my vehicle and came out to over $1000. I advised the service guy if he could probably do a discount and he was quite rude about it. I had the get the manager involved and the manager was quick to offer me a small discount for being a loyal customer since 2012. It didn't matter that it was $20 off, what matters is that the person would try. He also advised that my tires weren't roatated (even tho this was part of my bundle) he said my tires were old and needed replacement anyway ( 2yr old tires) .. I was just ready to get out of there wasn't in the mood to make a big deal. This recent trip I was seen by a young man named Cesar. His customer service skills are amazing. Before I left he looked at my tires and said "have ur tires been roatated?" I said nope! Just the fact that pays close attention to detail is amazing. If you want great service I recommend you ask for Cesar! Cesar More

okay... i guess The service was okay. I use to own a Nissan and at Nissan Cerritos, they meet you and greet you at your car door. They ask you who your appointment is The service was okay. I use to own a Nissan and at Nissan Cerritos, they meet you and greet you at your car door. They ask you who your appointment is with and lead you to the right service person. That person introduces him/herself and guides you. Eventually this person becomes your main service person and over the years rapport is built. None of this happened at Hyundai Downey. No one greeted me in my car. I went in and they called some guy to help me. He took me to his computer and asked for my last name and the service. He punched a bunch of stuff in the computer and said your car will be ready in an hour or so... He did not introduce himself, ask me how I was doing, ask me if my car had any issues.. nothing.... Very weird experience.. After I was waiting for my car outside and one of the workers was making his way inside and was cursing. I think he got in a verbal fight with a customer no clue... Very scary! He looked like he was ready to hit someone. I will be going to Hyundai Cerritos to hopefully have a better experience. More
This dealership is okay. Nothing extraordinary about it. Front desk person isn’t really helpful. They kind of brush you off and don’t acknowledge you.
