They completed the work but it took four hours to change five light bulbs. I also paid over $350 for that service, which was too much in my opinion, and it was more than originally quoted. Very difficult to get update and every time I called had to spend at least 20 min on call usually to let me know rep was not available and would call back but then would not call back. Also warranty did not approve all needed repairs so even though some items were fixed still had to tow car home. Rental also took a week to get and was dirtiest rental car I had ever been in. Seats were very stained and drove straight to car wash to at least clean the outside and clean ashes left inside car. The 2 car fresheners they had hanging in car did not mask the smoke smell in the car. I understand the car rental was an outside vendor but Hyundai Downey was the one who set it up. More
This place is a joke. They rip people off at service. Took my car to get checked and make sure all fluids were good and everything was running well in my car. I was told everything was good and two days later my car was over heating and found out it didn't have anti freeze ( something they had “checked”) and the check engine light went on. Took the car back and they said it was a valve. My car was there over a week and charged me about $1,400 for the valve. Finally picked up my vehicle and not even 1 hour later the check engine light went back on and now they want to charge me more and are saying it’s “something else”. This place is a fraud, unprofessional and un ethical. More

I was so frustrated getting my Sonata serviced at my local Hyundai dealership that I decided to travel extra miles to go to Downey Hyundai. Best decision that I ever made. Most important, I found that Downey Hyundai actually answers their phones and will not put you on hold forever. Alex Abarca was my service advisor. In the 12 years I have owned multiple Hyundai cars, Alex is one of the best advisors that I have encountered. He addressed my multiple concerns, was professional, knowledgeable and made sure my car was done at the appointed time. Left the dealership satisfied and with a newly washed car (something the other dealership never did). This dealership deserve a 5 star rating. More
