I'm 21 years old and haven't had many places even call me back once they had done a credit check. I have always held a job and made any payments I've ever had.. My current car was costing me as much money as a new car would, and my current car was slowly falling apart.I was recommended to DriveTime from my parents best friend, and it sounded too good to be true.. I was approved online which was great, because I live roughly 100mi from the closest dealership. Right away the next day I had a sales associate at the Shade land Ave. and 13th street dealership in Indianapolis, IN. as asked to come visit and check the cars out, and right away I stressed the importance of being sure I was approved because of the far drive. I was pretty much guaranteed approval with my trade in vehicle. I made the trip and brought everything Zac Thomas had told me to bring up with me. I did have to wait an hour or so, but as soon as I met with Zac, we sat down and talked about my options. As we did paperwork the manager on duty appraised my vehicle. All I had to do was my trade in and 100 dollars for a car!!! I got to choose from roughly 20 cars in my price range. Quickly made a decision and was so very excited to have my pick of the dealership cars, as I had never been given the option to 'pick' from any cars.. Usually bought what I could afford out right. I was offered a test drive on a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo, with 60k miles!!!! I immediately fell in love with the car and am happily making payments still to this day!
