We're sorry to hear you’re unhappy with your experience, and we understand how frustrating unexpected vehicle issues can be. That said, we feel it’s important to clarify a few points for the sake of transparency to other potential customers reading this. You originally visited Driven to view one of our fully inspected, retail-ready Durangos. Instead, you opted to purchase a different, lower-priced vehicle from our wholesale “xxxxxx Lot”—a separate section clearly designated for vehicles sold as-is, with no warranty or mechanical guarantees. These vehicles are priced accordingly and marketed as value options for customers willing to assume the risk in exchange for a lower price. Per our xxxxxx Lot disclosure (which you signed), we check these vehicles only to ensure they have oil, coolant, and can start and drive off the lot. We do not perform full inspections, and we advise every customer to have a third-party inspection done if they are unsure. We also welcome test drives and encourage buyers to ask questions prior to purchase. While we empathize with your situation, we respectfully disagree with the claims made in your review and feel it misrepresents the nature of the sale. We take honesty seriously across all of our inventory—whether it's a fully reconditioned retail unit or a wholesale-priced vehicle on the xxxxxx Lot. The phrase “ready for any road” appeared in a salesman's old personal Facebook ad and was not part of any official vehicle listing. That salesman was no longer employed at the time of your purchase, and you did not reference or even see that phrasing until well after the sale was completed. We do a basic check for the presence of oil and coolant before xxxxxx Lot vehicles are made available, but these are not pressure-tested or thoroughly inspected. This is disclosed up front. Vehicles on the xxxxxx Lot can and do have mechanical issues—which is precisely why they are priced well below retail and sold under an “as-is” agreement. While you may be frustrated with the outcome, your review misrepresents both the facts of the sale and the role of our business. We’re always willing to have a respectful conversation, but we also stand behind the transparency of our sales process and documentation. —The Driven Team
